Jeon Jong Seo receives offer to star in the upcoming K-drama "Genie House"
Lee Joo Young is in discussion to make a special appearance in the upcoming crime thriller drama "Deal."
The actress is set to return to the drama scene with a special appearance in the upcoming Wavve original series "Deal."
If Lee Joo Young confirms her casting, this will be her next drama after the 2021 series "Times." The actress has been focusing on appearing in several movies.
"Deal" will tell the story of the fake kidnapping of two young men in their 20s that gets out of control. The series will base its story on the popular Naver webtoon of the same name.
Lee Joo Young will possibly work alongside main leads Yoo Seung Ho, Kim Dong Hwi, and Yoo Soo Bin.
There are no details yet on what character Lee Joo Young will portray and how it will affect the story of the upcoming drama.
"Deal" will begin filming this year and it will premiere in 2023. No official confirmation yet on the broadcast date.
This year, Lee Joo Young starred in the award-winning movie "Broker" with Song Kang Ho, Kang Dong Won, Bae Doo Na, IU, and Park Ji Yong. She will also lead the upcoming film "Taste of Horror." The actress also recently released the short film she directed and wrote titled "Leave at Door, Bell X."
Lee Joo Young also participated in the entertainment program "Young Actors' Retreat" and reunited with "Itaewon Class" cast Park Seo Joon, Hello Venus' Kwon Na Ra, Ahn Bo Hyun, and Ryu Kyung Soo.
The actress is known for being part of the works "Itaewon Class," "The Ghost Detective," "Something in the Rain," "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo," "The Negotiation," "An Algorithm," "Jane," "Baseball Girl," and more.
