Lee Tae Hwan is in discussion to join the cast of the upcoming JTBC drama "Thirty-Nine"!
Several media outlets reported on July 29 that Lee Tae Hwan will be joining Son Ye Jin and Jeon Mi Do's drama "Thirty-Nine".
Man Of Creation, Lee Tae Hwan's agency, responded to the news and revealed that the actor is considering the drama positively.
"Thirty-Nine" is a 12 episode drama produced by Lotte Culture Works and JTBC Studio. It will be directed by Kim Sang Ho and written by Yoo Young Ah. The production aims to start filming this August.
The upcoming women-centered drama will revolve around stories of friendship, love, and the life of three friends who are about to turn 40 years old.
"Thirty-Nine" will be led by Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do, Kim Ji Hyun, Yeon Woo Jin, Ahn So Hee, and Lee Moo Saeng.
Lee Tae Hwan received an offer to play the role of a young chef and restaurant owner who makes peoples' hearts flutter.
"Thirty-Nine" airing date is not yet confirmed.
After being active in the drama scene last year with 3 dramas: "Secret Royal Inspector," "Graceful Friends," and "Touch," this could be his first drama project in 2021. The actor is also set to appear in the upcoming movie "Chiaksan" with Yoon Kyun Sang, Kim Ye Won, and Yeon Je Wook.
