Kwak Shi Yang to appear in the upcoming episode of "Good Partner"
miss A's Bae Suzy will reportedly star as a vampire in a new K-drama directed by Han Jae Rim.
On July 30, media outlets shared that Bae Suzy will lead the upcoming thriller K-drama Delusion.
Bae Suzy's agency Management SOOP shared their response to the casting reports. According to them, "Bae Suzy received the offer to star in the new series and she is currently reviewing it."
Reports stated that Bae Suzy was the very first to receive the casting offer for Delusion. When it was first offered to her, the idol actress had to decline it due to scheduling conflicts.
It was then reportedly offered to Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol. The two also decided to decline the K-drama because of their breakup news.
The production of Delusion has been adjusted and was then offered again to Bae Suzy.
This year, Bae Suzy impressed everyone with her acting skills in the film Wonderland. She starred alongside Park Bo Gum, Jung Yu Mi, Choi Woo Shik, Tang Wei, Nina Paw, and more
Bae Suzy is also expected to reunite with Kim Woo Bin in the upcoming Netflix original K-drama All the Love You Wish For.
Delusion will be ht next K-drama work of director Han Jae Rim. He is known for creating the hit films Face Reader, Emergency Declaration, The King, and the Netflix original K-drama The 8 Show.
The upcoming K-drama will narrate the story of a poor painter who was commissioned to draw a vampire woman in the background of Gyeongseong in 1935. The story will be based on a webtoon of the same name by Hongjacga that was serialized on Naver in 2019.
Bae Suzy got the offer to portray the role of Song Jeong Hwa, a mysterious vampire woman.
There are no other details yet on the broadcast date and channel for the upcoming thriller K-drama.
