Song Joong Ki and Lee Sung Min will officially work together in the upcoming JTBC drama!
JTBC announced on July 20th that the confirmed main leads for the upcoming drama "The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate" will be Song Joong Ki and Lee Sung Min.
"The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate" will begin filming during the second half of the year and it will premiere in 2022. The said drama series will narrate the story of a person who served a chaebol family for 10 years but eventually got betrayed. He will be given a chance to be reborn as the youngest son of that chaebol family and plots his revenge.
Song Joong Ki will play the role of Yoon Hyun Woo, a former secretary to a chaebol family. In his second life, he returns to the family to seek revenge.
Lee Sung Min will play the role of Jin Yang Chul, the patriarch of the chaebol family.
Other reported cast members of the drama include Shin Hyun Bin, Kim Nam Hee, Girl’s Generation's Tiffany, and Park Hyuk Won.
Based from a popular web novel of the same name, "The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate" will be helmed by Jeong Dae Yun ("She Was Pretty" and "W") and written by Kim Tae Hee ("A Beautiful Mind" and "Sungkyunkwan Scandal").
Song Joong Ki previously appeared in the hit tvN drama "Vincenzo" together with Jeon Yeo Bin and 2PM's Ok Taecyeon. He is also shooting for the upcoming movie "Bogotá: City of the Lost" with Ryu Seung Beom, Jo Hyun Chul, and Lee Hee Joon.
Aside from "The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate," Lee Sung Min will also take part in the upcoming drama "Juvenile Judgement" with Kim Hye Soo, Kim Mu Yeol, Lee Jung Eun, and more. He last starred in the 2020 drama "Money Game." The renowned actor will be in the upcoming movies namely "Confidential: The Birth of Power," "Handsome Guys," and "Remember."
