The newly-released fantasy rom-com The Heavenly Idol premiered with an average rating of 3.09% (nationwide) and 3.40% (Seoul) on February 16 (Thursday).

It marks a decent start for the drama starring Kim Min Gue. The K-drama will air 12 episodes over the course of six weeks. Hopefully, the series will garner increasing viewership and popularity for its upcoming episodes.

When and where to watch the K-drama The Heavenly Idol?

The Heavenly Idol will air every Wednesday and Thursday. It is available to watch on Viki

Meanwhile, the idol survival show Peak Time premiered on Viki on February 15.

Peak Time is a JTBC produced-reality program that aims to give a chance to boyband idols who have fallen out of the spotlight due to disbandment, pandemic, or - at times- even lineup changes. But, apart from the fallen stars, the show will also allow rookie/aspiring idols to prove their worth.

The contestants will get the privilege to learn from the best in the industry, and prove their worth on the globally broadcast show.

Lee Seung Gi is the MC of the show. The judges are Jay Park (former leader of boy band 2PM), Cho Kyu Hyun (member of boy band Super Junior), Lee Gi Kwang (currently a member of the group Highlight), Tiffany Young (a member of Girls' Generation), Song Min Ho (currently a member of the boy band group Winner), Kim Sung Gyu( a member of Infinite), and Ryan S. Juhn (a renowned South Korean producer and songwriter).

Tune in for the show on Viki
