Yoo Ah In and Go Yoon Jung will be the main leads for the Netflix film "Seoul Grand Operation".

On February 10th, media outlet Sports Chosun reported that Yoo Ah In and Go Yoon Jung are confirmed to star in the upcoming movie "Seoul Grand Operation". Actress Go Yoon Jung also confirmed her casting for the upcoming movie. 

"Seoul Grand Operation" is an action/crime film with a budget of 15 billion Korean won (~$13 million). It will premier exclusively on Netflix. The movie is set around the 1988 Seoul Olympics and the story revolves around the unusual operation of VIP slush funds by baby drivers in Sanggye-dong. It will be directed by Moon Hyun Sung who also directed "The King’s Case Note" starring Lee Sun Kyun and Ahn Jae Hong.

This is actress Go Yoon Jung's first lead role and first casting in a movie. She debuted in the 2019 drama "He Is Psychometric" as Kim So Hyun, the female lead's friend. She continued appearing in series such as "The School Nurse Files" starring Nam Joo Hyuk and Jung Yoo Mi, and "Sweet Home" starring Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook and Lee Shin Young which are exclusively available on Netflix. "Seoul Grand Operation" will be her third project with Netflix.

Meanwhile, Yoo Ah In recently won the Best Actor Award at The 41st Blue Dragon Film Awards with his performance in the 2020 film "Voice of Silence". He is set to appear in the 2021 Netflix's original series "Hellbound" with Park Jung Min, Kim Hyun Joo and Won Jin Ah. The actor has also been offered the main lead role in the upcoming film "High Five" and is positively considering it. 

Filming for "Seoul Grand Operation" will start around July to August after the casting lineup is finalized.
