10. Junjou - the manga and live action are pretty different from each other, but I still enjoyed both.

10 dramas/movies where a character is cross-dressing (or perceived as so) and their love interest confesses tonthemnthinking that they are the opposite sex.

In other words, female character is cross-dressing and male confesses thinking she really is a boy because he doesn't know the truth. Or vice versa.

5. Bromance IIRC, he was about to confess but inadvertently overhears that FL only likes him as her sworn brother, so ML is heartbroken. When FL confesses to ML instead, he remembers that FL doesn't like people of the same sex, so he clarifies "as a brother" breaking her heart. It takes them a long time to figure this out and ML eventually confesses but he has again overheard another conversation finding out FL is a woman.... but he was so ready to confess when he thought FL was a man. What stopped him was thinking it was unrequited love.

6. Captivating the King - FL is deceiving everyone dressed as an eunuch, even the ML (the king). He eventually falls in love with her, and he's absolutely certain that she's a man: he doesn't confess his love directly, but he often says things like "If you were a woman, I'd have marry you on the spot". He also doesn't care about the gossip: both his people and the Palace think he's attracted by men since he's never even touched his wife. In short: he loves her seeing her as a man, and he fells harder when he discovers she's a woman.
