I came here from Butterfly's profile and read the first post. Pumpkin and leek soup. Just so what I make in the winter. Of the variations you mention there was nothing about beetroot and pumpkin. Try it, the colour is just superb. slice the beetroot thin so it softens. Visiting my daughter and SIL who is Korean. We had seaweed soup.

apple pie larabars, chunk chicken, chicken stock, brown rice

bar made of dates, almonds, apples, walnuts, raisins, cinnamon

zapped sandwich (on paper towel) of gluten free white, three pork sausage links and plant based cheddar slice

may have consumed some paper towel while eating molten cheese drips

spaghetti with spicy meat and a bit of sweet sauce, with a side of buttery bread

spaghetti with mushrooms and tomato souse  and spicy salami..

Pasta with a marinara sauce with zucchini, mushrooms, and scallions.  Sprinkled with a little parmesan.

Not in the mood to cook:  Heated canned chickpeas with added spices, baked sweet potato, sliced tomato and avocado.

I'm having salmon with some steamed veggies

Hot dog, potato salad, macaroni salad, coleslaw , watermelon, ice cream cake….
