In my opinion, the only good thing about it is the OP.

I like it as well but it definitely took a more serious approach while the anime was really comical-I still prefer the anime though.

No I did not.
Given the responses so far, I would probably really hate xxxholic had I seen the other better versions huh.

But its a 30min episode drama so its kinda bearable like michiru shotenin...

Himawari is indeed quite an annoying character. Her face alone makes me want to slap her. Grown slightly accustomed to her over the past few episodes tho.

I was quite discouraged by the actor who played Yuuko, the witch. I mean, I really imagined her to be mysteriously dazzling and beautiful when I watched the anime. When I saw the drama, I didn't expect Yuuko to have that kind of beauty. Just saying :3

For me, it's not about how the characters look. They were all pretty normal looking, so the casting is fine on that front. The issues is with the essence. As Princess mentioned, Yuko should be mysterious and other worldly, not just pretty. Domeki should be austere and kinda regal in his manner (aloofness that may be interpreted as snobbery). Himawari is definitely not supposed to be that annoying lol. All of these things contribute to the development of the characters as the story line moves forward. Watanuki is also more spastic than in the drama. That's where a lot of the humor comes from (and Yuko's interactions with some of her other worldly friends). I agree with whoever said that the humor may not translate well to the drama, so i'm ok with that change. Someone else is missing: Mokona! hahaha

True that drunkard Mokona is missing, but they also added a mother of Watanuki that was never mentioned in the manga.
Wish they would also make a drama for TsubasaChronicles.......

I dont think the guys were that attractive, and the girl was ugly.
