Kokoro (1954) Live action based on the novel from 1914 by Natsume Soseki. It was the first time watching a Japanese movie made below the 2000's. But it was a good adaption.

Are You Ready? Hey You Girl!

It was cute/ typical high school love story

My Korean Teacher

Little Forest:Winter and Spring

Godzilla (1954)

Totally recommend this one/ so good

We Made a Beautiful Bouquet
Distasteful ending. I paused at halfway for some reason, should've left that way.

Tokyo Wine Party People

If Cats Disappeared From the World

sad... I recommend it

The Happiness of the Katakuris

loved it

The Tale of Genji
This was my first Japanese movie where the setup is completely in past Japan(Other historical one I watched mainly deals with time travelling). Slow paced, which I absolutely don't mind, but as usual relationships were complicated in those era and had different values. The movie was good one but not the type that I'd like to watch often.

Tokyo Tower

The way it's set up, a healthy happy ending wasn't even a choice. The age gap was a bit too much for the main couples, the second couple's one was do able. Even though it's my favorite noona romance genre, infidelity/cheating is a big no. I was ready to get a not happy ending, but to my surprise they kinda pull off a good one for at least one of the couple.
