I know that there's already a general music thread but I thought I'd make one in case anyone wanted to solely discuss visual bands/artists. Old, new, active, inactive, whatever; everything's welcome if you like. Tell me your favorite bands, who you've seen or would like to see, what drew you to VK, share videos, etc etc etc :)

Personally, I've been in the scene for about five years now and watching it evolve and change has really been fascinating. I'm interested in meeting other people who have similar interests so I'm excited to see who is out there haha.

For those interested, my last.fm is here.
I miss Malice Mizer :(
Im not really interested in visual kei, I was never really a goth girl even in my high school days when I was so much into rock music (im still into rock music, but with a more selective taste) However, I just happen to love and be obsess, and also have as my number one rock band, the one and only LUNA SEA! love them, and will forever listen to them. Im sure, as a person who loves visual kei, you know who they are ^^
ahh vk is love *__*my last.fm is here: http://last.fm/user/jennahoo

I love Luna Sea! They're my #2 favorite band after X Japan. Always glad to meet fellow fans; Sugizo has been a huge inspiration in my life.

Wow!!! You have made my day :D
Im really, really happy today just because there is a Luna Sea fan in the house. Seriously! Im a died hard fan of the band, and Im somewhat afraid to say it... I think I don't deserve to be called a fan technically yet, because I have just recently discovered the band like 8 months ago. On the emotional side of it, I-AM-A-FAN!!! love all of them, and will for ever regret becoming a fan just days after they came to LA... I cried for a week because I couldn't see them, really I did, not lying. And is that, when I listen to "I For You" something changes... this song is amazing, I can't believe it. I don't need to understand the lyrics, I feel it.
Really glad to meet another fellow Luna Sea fan :)

I'm not that familiar with Luna Sea. I think I'll check them out. Which songs would you recommend?

nehhh!!!!!!!!!!!! ninja you are making me even happier :D

I dont know if you like ballads, "I For You" is more like a ballad type, is soft, but "Sweetest Coma Again" and "Storm" are my favorite as well... ^^
And perhaps you could recommend some X-Japan songs for me :)

Just listened to "Sweetest Coma Again" I really liked it. Also just watched the pv for "Rosier".

Have you heard of Plastic Tree or Psycho le Cemu? I really like them.
No just did a research on it, and waiting for the video to upload :)
Okay I searched Plastic Tree and Psycho Le Cemu and I got this, Plastic Tree, PIERROT, Psycho le cemu, La'cryma Christ, one of the drummers looks just like the Luna Sea's drummer lol... well a little bit like him, hahaha. I wonder which one it is. Who are these guys?

Some J-Rock band I really like. Psycho le Cemu is no longer together though. PIERROT is another good one.
