Hmm. Well to me I feel like visual kei is a style that is unique to the music that the visual bands play. So your best bet would probably be some kind of anime that is centered around a VK band. However I don't think I know of any anime like that...except maybe Detroit Metal City or Kaikan Phrase (the real life band Λucifer was formed to promote this anime and actually lasted after it was over!).

yeah i dunno. do a search for music related anime and go from there i guess. personally i only know of Beck and Nana. Nana would be closer but they're more indie/punk not vk (fantastic series though)

Yeah I read Nana, and don't want to watch the anime because I really wanted her with Nobu lol. I think Nana is more punk like you said. I guess Ill have to keep listening to the music I like so far. I just wanted to start getting to know more about the VK world, since I really don't do research on the band or anything, just listen to the music, I really don't know much more than what has already been said. :)

here's a site that might help you :) i use it quite a bit to look up bands and artists but it gives you the history and explanation of what VK really is etc

etto... now that i look at it the history and info pages aren't filled in yet but anyway if you browse through the bands there usually is a fair bit of info on their individual pages so that still might be helpful

Which song from Last Exile? Apparently the opening theme and some of the other songs in the drama are by Okino Shuntaro 沖野俊太郎. He's done a bunch of stuff (and is technically considered Shibuya-kei, rather than visual-kei)

The opening theme is "Cloud Age Symphony"

well i'm not a super fan from them but i like it, i went to see them in their concert from the last tour from south america Holy Grail,it was the first band come here to my countrie, enjoy the show so much and cry like a baby with this song "remember forver" and i was happy when they played ascendead master my favourite song from versailles :3 now i'm waiting to see the LM.C Concert here in my country at may 7th ... and sorry for my english DX

Ooo your so lucky I would love to see them in concert. Versailles was how I got introduced to visual kei. I was browsing around and someone recommended them for a flavor of something different. Zombie from Noble is my favorite.
