Alright, so who is your favorite jpop singer or group? Or which is your favorite jrock band?

I really like Hitomi, Pan, and Smilerenjya. Ai Otsuka is fun. I sometimes like Yamato, Omodaka, and ZZ.

My absolute favorite would have to be Utada, but i also like Uverworld, L'arc en Ciel, EXILE, Ai Otsuka, and Aya Ueto. I'm sure i've sure i've forgotten many :P

Miyavi, L'Arc-en-Ciel, Vamps/Hyde (not a big fan of the other l'arc members' solo stuff though, although Yukihiro's singing makes me LOL), Mucc, Luna Sea, Maximum the Hormone, Nightmare, and i just recently discovered Vidoll and kinda like what i've seen so far. also like but haven't gotten too far into (yet): Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Alice Nine, Gazette, An Cafe, Dir en Grey, and uhhh.... more that i can't think of

as you can tell i lean heavily into visual kei not so much pop :p though i do like Do As Infinity

I am all for jrock (and more the hard stuff) , my other fav. bands are: Deathgaze, Cocklobin, -OZ-, lynch., 9goatsblackout, Merry, Suicide ali.
Currently I am in spring mood and am listening to Sid.

I like piano soundtracks, too, like those of final fantasy.

Ah totally forgot about SID. I used to listen to them a lot.

funny thing is, I liked them a lot as they started, but then they lost interest and became boring, but now I thought I should try them again, and damn they got awsome. You should try out their new album deadstock, and if you hadn't heard hikari yet, than this album too.

based on the amount of music i have on my ipod from each artist

1. arashi. i have their discography but i mainly listen to their singles. i ♥ arashi to pieces.
2. flow. their music is a must have for any anime fan. esp naruto fans. their song 'sign' is the 1st japanese song i downloaded.
3. news. i loved their unplug album and yamapi is too hot for words
4. yui. i love her voice and she is a true singer songwriter that can cross many genres.
