Forgive me for borrowing your list, it's just shorter this way. ;) I second this and add Kyoharu. :)

That's fine. :)

Ahh, Kiyoharu. I should have added him too.
I feel kind of bad for the Bands / Artists I left out haha
Too many to name... and I go through phases... X Japan was the first album I bought (Dahlia) and I went through a mini visual phase around the time of hide's death (X, hide with spread beaver, L'arc, Luna Sea) But I tend more toward the pop rock/band style, and the strong male/female ballad/folk singers... Mr. Children, Spitz, Bump of Chicken, Remioromen, B'z, Ellegarden, Glay, GReeeeN, Love Psychedelico, Monkey Majik, Porno Graffitti, Radwimps, The Yellow Monkey, Mongol800, Fukuyama Masaharu, Moriyama Naotaro, Yamazaki Masayoshi, Ayaka, Hirahara Ayaka, Teshima Aoi, Hajime Chitose, Hitoto Yo, Salyu, etc etc. And I don't watch so much actual TV these days, so I am about three years behind on new artists... I officially feel old :)
01. Dir en grey
My most favorite band all the time. You may not believe it, but this band changed my whole life through their music and lyrics. Their music is dark and nerve wrecking. Unlike any other bands that got softer the longer they survive, this band is totally the other way around, their music is getting darker and darker.

02. Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas
This is a fresh genre in Japanese music scene, this band mix a trance and electronic tune with heavy music. These guys totally blow my mind with their amazing music.

03. Deathgaze
A Visual Kei band which also possess a heavy music influence. Their songs are worth to check!

04. Lynch.
This band has similar music with Deathgaze, the vocalist was ex-member of Deathgaze to begin with. The only VK band which signed into major label and yet remain heavy as they always be.

05. Oz
Another badass heavy VK band which got my special impression. Released whole lotsa stuffs and almost none of them disappoint me.
arashi of course <3
Hyde, L'Arc en Ciel, On/Off, Scandal, Girugamesh and others
I am more of a J-ROCKER but I do listen to JPOP once in a while XD;; J-ROCK : ASIAN-KUNG FU GENERATION, LAST ALLIANCE, NICO Touches the Walls, Base Ball Bear and RADWIMPS. I have more actually but these are my top favourites atm. I like AKFG the most. Can never get sick of them. Any Ajikan fan here? J-POP : Otsuka Ai, Kana Nishino, Koda Kumi, Perfume, Olivia, ELISA, NewS, EXILE, CHEMISTRY, Yuya Matsushita and more. It will take forever for me to list everything lol
When it comes to Japanese singers or groups I tend to have lots of favourites. Currently my list of favs goes like this: UVERworld, ON/OFF, Miyano Mamoru, Jun Fukuyama, FLOW, Abingdon Boys School, T.M. Revolution, AAA, KAT-TUN, A>
Sheena Ringo, Tokyo Jihen, and Melt Banana FTW!!!
Forgot to add A -Anonymous Confederate Ensemble- to my list before. This band is slowly crawling into the top chart of my heart.
