Lee Seung Gi releases new album â??Tonightâ? + MV for â??Because Weâ??re Friendsâ??

Koreaâ??s sweetheart Lee Seung Gi has recently returned with his fifth album, â??Tonightâ?. In addition he has also released the MV to his new title track, â??Because Weâ??re Friendsâ??.

In the sweet ballad, Seung Gi sings about helplessly watching over a friend he loves be broken up over a different man. The song has been recommended to listeners on various music sites such as Melon.

Lee Seung Gi accepts the fact that he doesn’t have male fans

On October 26th, after the press meeting that was held at Sungdonggoo in Seoul for his 5th album release event, ‘Lee Seung Gi’s Five Minute Music Broadcast‘, Lee Seung Gi readily admitted that he knew he didn’t have a large male fan base. He said, [I]”I’m quite aware that the males out there aren’t big fans of mine… I understand.”

“A lot of my fans are mothers who are in their 40s, who probably give me some of the attention that’s rightfully deserved to their children. So, I understand… I just pray that these children aren’t my superiors once I enter the army,” he continued, evoking laughter on set.

In regards to enlisting in the military he said, “It’s my duty as a Korean citizen. However, I don’t know what my situation is going to be like so I have yet to set an official date“, and “The sooner the better.”

‘Lee Seung Gi’s Five Minute Music Broadcast’ is to help promote his first full-length album in two years, ‘Tonight‘.

Although the program is only 5 minutes long, there will be an official MC, guests, and songs, offering the same entertainment as any other music program. It will air on November 1st through MelonTV, as well as other online sites such as YouTube.

Who’s the girl in Lee Seung Gi’s new ‘Because We’re Friends’ MV?

Singer Lee Seung Gi is back with a new album, and after the release of his new MV, “Because We’re Friends“, many fans became curious to as who the girl in his music video could possibly be.

It was revealed that the female lead in his MV is none other than Jin Ah Reum, a model who is actively working in the fashion industry.

In the MV, Jin Ah Reum plays the role of Seung Gi’s friend, the girl he is madly in love with but must helplessly watch her be heartbroken over a different man. Her feminine physique and charming facial expressions have grabbed the attention of Lee Seung Gi fans everywhere.

The two looked very natural in the video, and could pass for a genuine real-life couple. Their believable acting sparked envy of netizens as they commented, “[I]So jealous of that girl!”, “I want to be on the receiving end of Seung Gi’s love…jealous“, etc.

The lucky lady in the MV was also featured in GD&TOP‘s “Baby Good Night” MV earlier this year, playing the role of TOP’s girlfriend. I've never heard of her before. She's really pretty and I thought she looked familiar. I love GD and TOP! Haha But back to LSG................I love his new music video. :D
