OMG, so many twists and turns in episode 4! Awesomeness... but am I the only one bothered by Ji Won fake cuteness/baby talk? I think it's partly due to the NK accent, but still, it really annoys me. It's a relief she has great chemistry with Seung Ki to make up for it. D:
Some people don't like the character of Jae Ha (yet! :P) but I think Seung Ki perfectly nails it as he's displayed a beautiful range of emotions/expressions so far. He is detestable on the surface, but if you look beyond, his douchey and cowardly attitude only hides frustration and weakness. Constantly hurting the others is his way to protect himself from all this, and he often regrets it the minute after he screwed up (insulting Hang Ah, playing a prank with SNSD, shooting Hang Ah... man... the shooting scene, beautiful!). Case in point: when he falls from the path, curls up and cries, he yells "I can't! I can't! I can't! What more do you all want from me?!". He has no idea what's going on and he's completely lost, which is why he acts by instinct and doesn't think before he does. Being used as a pawn on a chessboard opposing SK and NK with our super villain trying to jinx things in between, I think he earned the right to be. In episode 4, his character already took a step forward as he expressed sincere regrets to the people he's hurt with an act of loyalty, honor and strength. The world does not revolve around him anymore and whether he wants it or not, he is already changing, even if ever so slightly at a time.
In a nutshell, King2Hearts will be my most anticipated drama for the next 8 weeks, I hope it will not fail me.
