As it was a funny game for BongGu, and it would definitely be a problem for the relations of both sides, if JaeHa wasn't the one he was dealing with that is :p

Meanwhile, my doubts have dissipated: it was THE FORMER KING!!!
Really, if you think about it, that's the one and only possible answer. He leaked the news of an engagement because from the very beginning he wanted his brother to end up with Hang Ah.
There are so many hints of Jae Kang being the one, we just didn't register them at the time: he was always attentive to every reaction of his brother at the mere mention of her name. He KNEW Jae Ha had a crush on her even before princy knew it himself. And although Jae Kang's dream of reuniting North and South had top priority in his life, he stated more than once that Jae Ha's heart had to be taken into account.
:)

As always you amaze me with your thinking... actually, you could be quite right!!! And I like your answer more than mine by the way... It would be SO great if JaeKang was the 'leaker'... haha~

Yes, me too!! Who knows, we may even have the chance to see it, if Jae kang recorded of his little trick on his diary. I truly hope it will be so. :D

And I'm with you - as usual :) - on this drama exceeding every expectations. Really, in 13 episodes it has given us laughter (clever one, not the child-like man slips on banana peel sort of jokes); heartbreak, romance, action, politics, fear, wonderful dialogues, characters growth and now we even have a sport/military competition for which I'll have to sit on the edge of my chair, I am sure of it.
My Wednesdays and Thurdays won't be the same for a long while either.

Let's think positive thoughts...
What a cliffhanger ending for ep. 14! I hope they don't hurt anyone with their plan...lol And I love Shi Kyung so much, even more when he didn't hit the woman and just verbally attacked her...with the truth.. I almost clapped when he did that and then told John Mayer: "I don't eat rotten snacks." <3 And his dad... I loved the look on his face when Shi Kyung showed him his nifty little royal pass "Daddy, I'm above you now." LOL
So, after bombarding husband, family and friends with my Asian dramas obsession, and miserably failing, I FINALLY convinced my mother to watch K2H with me!
She never was averse to the idea, she just has problems reading the subtitles because they are too small and she says she's too slow.
Clearly, although she speaks some English she's far from fluent and my carefully laid out plan had to include the translation of the subs. Done so, spent the whole afternoon translating episode 1&2 (by the way, in doing so I came across little details of the dialogues which I didn't notice while watching. Hard work always has its rewards, it seems, hehe).
I was to read her the subs while watching in a sort of atrocious dubbing which made me foresee disaster.

And the beginning was such. I translated the subs, but saved them in the wrong format, so that my tv couldn't read them. After various unsuccessful attempts, in the end I had to load the english ones. I was already imagining myself not only "dubbing", but doing an improbable simultaneous translation. Yeah right, I'll be knackered. :p

But it went wonderfully! Not only my mom read the subs herself - clever girl - but she was hooked on episode 1. She's also harbouring a crush on Lee Seung Gi/Jae Ha, to which I had to place a clamp on and warn her that the guy goes through various degrees of jerkiness before a respectable woman can lose her heart on him.
She seemed unconvinced, but promised me to be cautious.

We have established a routine and she's coming over every Sunday to watch 2 episodes. She bid me goodbye with a very girly: "ohhhh, I'm so thrilled. Who knew Koreans were so beautiful?"

Isn't she a smart bee? ;)

I hope I'll have more anecdotes to relate of in future. They won't be able to compare with abs's wonderful tales of her watching sessions with her parents, but I'll do my best to keep you informed if my mother suddenly morphs into a hallyu star's fangirl and starts saying "Oppaaaaa!" ;)

Do you see what I see????
Do you know what this means??? THEY WON!!!!
Here's more from Hancinema! kyaa~

spoiler grrrrrrrrr :p
but there never was a doubt they wouldn't lol
I'm not impressed by her wedding look.....lol If the stylists were going to use that type of dress, they needed to do more on other areas to really make her look like a queen.
i'm actually quite impressed...i think it's simple and elegant (unlike the other loud wedding dresses i've seen in kdramas)...that lace around her waist (?)/ diaphragm may be (?) lol adds that little zing that's just about right to the otherwise plain dress imho lol...i only wish her hair was done up rather than how it is now...
Maybe they were aiming for a plain Jane look... who knows? lol I'm hard to impress, yet I don't like "loud" stuff. I'm very hard to satisfy...lol
