[Discussion] Arang and the Magistrate

This fusion saeguk tells story of a cynical and not so friendly government official named Eun Oh (played by Lee Jun Ki) who wanders the whole nation to look for his mother who disappeared because of his mistake. Eun Oh has ability of seeing ghost, so he used to be bothered by many kind of ghosts. As a result he doesn’t afraid anymore with ghost. Then Eun On meets a virgin ghost named Arang (played by Shin MIn Ah). Before she’s a ghost, Arang was a beautiful girl who was murdered. Arang asks Eun Oh to seek vengeance for her death and Eun Oh tries to appease her grudge. - koreanvibe

Yoo Seung Ho will appear on “Arang and the Magistrate,” which will begin its broadcast in July. You can’t tell what the age of Yoo Seung Ho’s character will be but, his role will be “The Great Jade Emperor.” The character will be very free spirited but he will have the charisma that is befitting for the emperor of all.

Yoo Seung Ho’s character provides a key for the adventure of Arang (Portrayed by Shin Min Ah) and Eun Oh (Portrayed by Lee Jun Ki).

The drama “Arang and the Magistrate” will be based on the actual South Korean “Arang” legend. Arang is a Korean ghost who wants to find out the truth behind her unfair death. She meets a magistrate named Eun Oh who can see ghosts. The two meet up and go on their adventure together.

“Arang and the Magistrate” will begin filming in the middle of May and begin its broadcast in July.

Now that Yoo Seung Ho is in this my dream has come true and I can die happy (obviously not until after this series ends!) the loves of my life in one drama!! Never thought Lee Jun Ki and Yoo Seung Ho would appeared at the same time of the same small screen!!! :')) such a happy moment!!! Cannot ask for more and this series would just be mind blowing because my boys are in this!!! <3!!! If only it wasnt a guest role then GOD I will die on the spot :)

Arang and the Magistrate with Lee Jun Ki and Shin Mina Hold Script Reading

The cast of upcoming supernatural fantasy sageuk Arang and the Magistrate released pictures of its script reading session. In addition to Lee Jun Ki, he’s joined by Shin Mina as the titular ghostly Arang (Jun Ki is the magistrate), Yoo Seung Ho guest starring as the celestial Jade Emperor, and a cast of veteran saguek actors that will surely to justice to whatever role they are given. Such as The General from Chuno, playing the magistrate’s loyal right hand man. It premieres in July on MBC after I Do I Do. The PD last directed Can You Hear My Heart?, so expect pretty the likes of which takes your breath away.
