what kind of eye illness could possibly demands such an urgent surgery?

Well some people say it's something do with the inside of the eyewhich can be dangerous, others saying it's a botch plastic surgery job and still another is they were going to write him out anyway so this was just an excuse so I guess the writers wouldn't look bad. For as people know Jang bin was originally supposed to have secondary lead. Or so I was told. Which makes me sad since we see him so little after the start.

In 3 days I just had watched the 20 episodes so far of this drama! Coz, the hole "tune us next week" sucks big time!!! I can wait in a traffic jam, I can wait in the grocery store line, heck I can even wait in the freaking government office...but a new episode, from a drama that I loved and lurved much!! I CAN"T!!! Even if it kills me I can't wait!!!

Till know, I have laughed as a maniac, I had "killer instincts" kicking in every time the baddies won a battle, btw I almost become hulk once!! True story! I become sad, very sad every time something broke my heart, and I even cry like "my-boyfriend-just-leave-me" kind of way...when I lose my kids...specially that kid! You know the one who put his live on the line for a message!! OMG I'm even crying now!!! Ottoke!!! Yeah, this dramas affect me, yeah, is kind of pathetic…well at least is that what my little brother says to me every time he saw me crying!!! But I don’t really care about that! Cozes there are some many bad thingys happening in this real world that the dramas give me hope and definitely I’M KEEPING THE FAITH!!!!!

Love how the relationship between the couples have bloomed!! I love how finally the king knows how Wangbi Mama feels about him and vice versa! I love that Choi Young is COMMUNICATING with doctor, and not only ignore her like a heaven’s crazy creature!!! Mhhahhahaha lurve it!!!!! And now to read the recaps…you know sometimes I get lost in translation!!! Mhahahahahhahahaha

Yes, the article made me wonder too : there was a lot of second lead potential in him, and also a possibility of seeing him really learn about modern technique, but in the end, nothing.

Exactly! It made me sad because I saw a LOT of potential in not just his character but others. But I guess with having to had change main leads so many times maybe they felt they would ruin Jang Bin's character and they rewrote Choi Young? I dunno I'm just not satisfied with Faith lately. I'm still confused about a lot and they only have 4 episodes left so I'm not sure. :/ I think they should've either rewritten the drama and start over completely or just let it die when it should have.

I heard a lot of potential leads dropped the drama. So I'm curious about that as well. Faith's got a lot of secrets it seems. XD

Yes, I have mixed feelings about it too. It's a drama about a part of Korean history that is really interesting, and the fantasy inserted in it makes it fun to watch, but it looks like a lot of wasted potential to me. In the ends, it becames "LMH on a horse, LMH with a sword, LMH and his superpower, LMH in love, LMH in pain..." When the character of Choi Yeong is actually a really interesting character, that man born in wealth that decides to live in poverty and to become a soldier and whose wisdom becomes a asset for the kingdom to the point of becoming mayor of Pyongyang and a natinal hero. The Royal Couple, on the other hand, keeps catching my eye. The actors are doing an amazing job !

Yeah I love the story of the king and queen and only reason I'm continuing it otherwise I would have dropped it long ago. After all I only wanted to watch Faith for Philip Lee because I was excited he would be in a drama again. I hope his eye surgery thing goes well and they have him lined up for a new drama with hopefully a better role-Not that I disliked Jang Bin I just feel sour about the situation and would rather end up loving a character of Philip Lee's in the end or hating him deeply if he goes villain cause he'd be an awesome villain I think. I also think if a director realized it they could see the potential in using Philip Lee. But even in minor roles he was awesome like in Legend and even in Faith.

I had no interest in Korean history before this drama, but due to it I plan to look back at this apparently interesting time :) Personally I've found the drama great so far but I have a bit of a LMH bias, so to say.

Indeed, I agree.. Ever from the first episode we began to see GongminXNogook clips I was stuck as a fangirl for this couple.. I love the main couple in this drama.. But I ADORE these two <3

yea, the wasted potential lays heavy on me too. what's the point of going out of your way to give these people super powers if it's really just going to be back ground noise? they have spent a lot of time building up a story line they are not going to have time to flesh out in any satisfying way.

Despite having characters that have such amazing potential that is being wasted.. I am still continually very pleased with the story. All the moments between the main couple are so touching and sweet that I want to cry. Spoiler: I was upset they killed of Doctor Jang Bin, even though I knew they had no choice... it really made me very sad!! I also feel bad for the mute girl because I think she loved him. :C End.

Yeah but I don't want JUST the main couple though. That's boring. I loved the minor chars. :/ If you want a good drama use your resources not downsize them. But I guess in the end all Faith can offer are the couples. I even feel liek Gi Chol is being downsized immensely.

My feeling exactly...I was watching the episode, and since I knew the real reason, what happened didn't affect me at all, I was more like "Stop with the sad scene, you hypocrites" even though that's not the actors' fault...
I was really disapointed and angry during the whole episode. There is no coherence in this drama screenwriting and even in the directing : in the 8th minute of the episode, notice how Eun Soo change her costume in 10 seconds from blue suit to black suit AND full armor. Someone please teach the script girl how to do her job, she/he made that kind of mistakes tons of time since the begining of the drama !

The more I watch the drama, the more I feel like this is a master's recipe cooked by amateurs : this drama had everything ! How on earth did they manage to waste it to this point !?

yea when i read the article i was just thinking how they planning to show his disappearance .... i think they did a rather decent job covering it up
