I don't think that it will be a depressing ending, but a realistic one. ;) The drama is getting more and more interesting! :)
I heard that the Miss Ripley team is considering an extension to 20 episodes, and I'm not sure if I can handle four more episodes of Miri's demise. =/

I didn't know about that.. I can't wait for the ending, and they are extending it? Hmmm....
Good news
wrote: MBC has decided to forget the potential 4-episode extension for Miss Ripley, meaning it’ll end with its originally planned 16 episodes.
The reason given for the decision was that the actors’ schedules wouldn’t allow for an extension. The production rep stated that Lee Da-hae has activities planned in China soon after the drama wraps (assuming a 16-episode schedule), and that Yoochun is physically exhausted after his JYJ world tour and drama shoots. (It was also his tight JYJ schedule that helped prevent a Sungkyunkwan Scandal extension last year, thankfully.)

Ok.. I give in.. I think I will push through the hard to watch episodes and try to finish the drama. I hope that they are not trying to over work Mickey tht bad though. He is a sweet guy.

In an interview with Star News on the 12th, Kim Jaejoong said, “If there is a habit Yoochun has when he acts, it’s that his eyebrows raise when he acts out an emotional scene. He did it when he was acting in ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ but you couldn’t see it that well because of his topknot.”

He laughed and added, “I monitored an emotional scene he acted out with Lee Da Hae in ‘Miss Ripley’, and I saw him raise his eyebrows at least ten times.“

As Kim Jaejoong and Park Yoochun are close enough to be considered brothers, Park Yoochun has been showing brotherly affection to Kim Jaejoong by giving him advice on acting as the latter prepares for his debut in the domestic drama industry.

To this, Kim Jaejoong explained, “Yoochun usually doesn’t explain the details in any matter but he gave me great advice on what he felt as he acted.”

Regarding Park Yoochun’s acting, he said, “I think Yoochun is in his prime these days in terms of his acting,” and “I think he feels at ease when he acts now. I feel envious because I wonder when I’ll ever be at ease as much as he is.“

Kim Jaejoong said that he met Park Yoochun, who was getting ready for ‘Miss Ripley’, at a hair salon on the day of his interview and said, “Yoochun wouldn’t let go of his script, even as he was getting his hair lathered in shampoo, and was memorizing his lines,” and “He said he had only slept an hour, and maybe that was why he had dark circles under his eyes that looked like they reached his lips.”

Kim Jaejoong enjoys drinking, and when reporters asked him about his drinking habits that were exposed by Park Yoochun, he said, “I don’t think I “whine cutely” anymore. Yes, but when I’m drinking with Yoochun and Junsu, I might still do it a little”

Following that, he talked about Park Yoochun’s drinking habits. “Yoochun becomes more down to earth and serious when he drinks. I’m the type of drinker who laughs more comfortably and jokes around.”

Park Yoochun also mentioned that due to his filming of “Miss Ripley,” he was unable to meet the members often, but there was an incident where he happened to meet Kim Jaejoong at some bar, with the staff at the bar thinking that he and Kim Jaejoong were together and bringing him to the room where Kim Jaejoong was in.

Kim Jaejoong explained, “This was a total coincidence, it was quite amazing. I was drinking alone in the room, and Park Yoochun suddenly walked in,” he sighed continuously, still finding this incident hard to believe even when recalling it.

“I asked him what he was doing here, and that I was here first. He said that the staff thought we were together and brought him over. Eventually, Yoochun paid the bill, and I only drank one small cup.”

“Miss. Ripley” Lee Da-hae leaves prison, happy ending

It was eventually a happy ending.
On the final episode of MBC drama “Miss. Ripley“, Jang Mi-ri (Lee Da-hae) had to go to prison for the charges of faking her degree.

A year later, Jang Mi-ri was released. She was to go overseas to live with her mother Lee Hwa (Choi Myeong-gil) but Jang decided to stay. She forgave her mother through a letter saying, “I want to live here atoning for the difficult but shameful life past I lived. Like you said you will come back if I held on to this necklace, you really came back. I love you”.

Jang Mi-ri stayed and lived in Korea. She started over cheerfully. Song Yoo-hyeon recollected Jang Mi-ri and started child welfare business. Through a monologue he said, “I met her one day. I could recognize her at first glance. She looks like the mother she parted with a long time ago. She gave happiness to the world. She was like my heart. I loved her. I really loved her”.

Lee Hwa enjoyed voluntary work with her husband Song In-soo (Jang Yong) and made a happy face.
