OK so after ep 15 & 16 this drama is like crack. It makes me want more but now every time i see Garion i want to beat his face in.
And oh man that scene in ep 15 with the king & Pyung had me so captivated. I even tremble with that scene.

Jang Hyuk has such presence on screen. His facial expressions, his voice and eyes. He is a very emotive actor. I can't wait to get further into this show as his character has a chance to develop and his acting has a chance to shine. Is he a good guy? A bad guy? Simpleminded and out for revenge? I like that the grown up Dol Bok is a mystery still.

I'm on Episode 6 spoiler-------> where Mu Hyul cottens to the fact that Chae Yun is actually Ddol Bok and he immediately reports this to the King. And we also discover the King and Mu Hyul know that So Yi is Dam and she has been looking for Ddol Bok. I'm not exactly sure why this has to be kept hush hush but... <------- the way the secrets are being revealed and the plot unfolding is a lot of fun to watch in this show. Mainly because of the way the writers have written the characters. I've watched a few Sauguks now and I've never seen a King portrayed this way. He's SMART! with a capitol S. He's wise, kind and doesn't take any shite from anyone. This show is going to be 24 episodes long! I'm on episode 6 and already the plot is zipping along at a nice, brisk pace instead of creeping along like a snail dragging a boulder. It took me a while to start this drama....but I'm so glad I have!

I finished episode 10 last night and can I just say...Major Spoiler!!Kayser Soze!! I never thought for one minute that he was Jung Ki Joon!! Wow! <----------

I want to go to Korea and hug and kiss the writer/s and director of this show for being so damn awesome! The twists and surprises are coming faster and with more clever panache' than I would have ever EVER thought possible. Thank you for treating your audience as smart! I can't believe I'm actually saying this but you are rivaling City Hunter for Sheer BadAssery!!

Ok, I decided to watch this, based on suggestions.. and of course Jang Hyuk.. And this show is rivaling some of my favorite historical drama's.. and even some of my fav normal drama's.. The action is great, the cliffhanger endings, I thought City Hunter was awesome at this, but I am not to sure now.. I have totally caught up on all the episodes.. awesome.. show is awesome..

I had almost, almost forgotten how much I love this drama....I've gotten misty-eyed more times in this than in The Princess' Man.

There is something that irks me about every saeguk I've watched...How come the Royal guards SUCK so freaking much...? I'll never understand it...*SMH*
