I loved the ending. It couldn't have ended any better, IMHO. It was pretty evident, somewhere in the middle, how it was going to end up. I thought they tied up everyone's character nicely despite the fact it sucked from the beginning. LOL I stayed for the second male lead. He was the only interesting character in the whole story. He carried that entire show.
okay after giving it hours of thought....does anyone else think that *Jae Hyuk followed his fathers orders and had Young Gul killed especially after hearing Ga Young cry when she found out that he was in New York*

Where in the middle did you see that coming? Seriously...I was floored by it and I'm just curious as to what I missed. I have been watching this drama with the feeling that I was missing something. I just don't get the entire thing. It seemed like a bunch of events with no meaning.

When it all started getting nasty between the two of them, the back and forth. When Young Gul started becoming vicious, that is when I knew it would not end well. It was evident, in the last few episodes, even more. Especially the 16 & 17, they gave it away.

I won?t say anything more since I don?t wont to spoil it for anyone but I don?t even know if I will watch it when it?s up that?s how very bad I think it is. I hope the other shows that are ending this week don?t disappoint me as much as this one.

I've read spoilers about the end of the final episode(I've only seen ep.1) and from what I've read online, a lot of people were angry/disappointed.
I don't know why anyone would be angry. It ended the way it should have. It was definitely how the writer was heading. Surely I cannot be the only one who saw it coming.

Hi five!

I don't know what is wrong with eveybody it's not a rom/com...Heck they should have known when**they killed the Koreans on the boat. ( I thought this writer has no regard for human life..ut-o)
The male lead was NEVER endearing, even in the beginning. So how people thought it would end well...*shoulder shrug*... is beyond belief. I think people are more mad with the fact that they made Yoo In Ah's character a jerk ,and not a true romantic, is more of why people are upset. Even in the end I didn't feel sorry for his character at all. Period.
PinkDiamond wrote: As far as the characters go, I believe Young Gul was realistic, which is probably why he hit such a nerve. I don't feel sorry for him either. Never did. But I am opposed to tragic endings such as that. I don't think every drama should end with smiles and giggles but I would have been perfectly content if he ran away and never saw GY again. Or even if both guys got what they deserved. To me, this story wasn't really about just fashion, but greed...and greedy people sometimes get their life cut short in some pretty drastic ways...you know the whole karma thing. I just didn't see that coming. More jail time, and his riches taken away, maybe, but not that.

By the way, I'm not disagreeing with anyone. It's not my style to debate. I'm just expressing what I saw in my eyes.

I am going to have to agree with the greed part. It definitely had some love in there, but more so, abusive relationships with VERY LITTLE romance.

For my part: ** I knew someone was going to die, I just was not sure who. That is was Young Gul, for me, made it all that more sweet. He treated everyone like trash, outside of his 4 seamstresses, if you worked for him or not. Once he came into money he became a bigger jerk. His character deserved no sympathy. When his Dad died all I could think was, "You got what you deserved." You can't steal people's money, abandon everyone around you - let them fall, and expect it to end well. I thought they would try to redeem him in some way but they kept him complete heel until the end. Good for them! If they would have gone the other way I would have been livid!**
looks like everyone (but me) has completed FK...this thread has been pretty active...but ofcourse i haven't read anything...i'll be watching the last 2 eps this coming weekend ^^
