Actually I think I kinda did. I know I had a HUGE smile on my face. I also did the "Success Baby" meme fist pump.
PinkDiamond wrote: Librada, you thought he was interesting? You must have nerves of steel! Lol! I thought he was a brat!

I I'm accordance with you, I don't see in what way JH was interesting in the least , he kept putting people down because he though he was superior, but then he could never talk to the people that had more money that he did, he did not do shit for this show ... honestly none of them did , I feel like I wasted my energy, when I should have been studying for my finals ... what a load of cr@p.
LibradaJ wrote: When it all started getting nasty between the two of them, the back and forth. When Young Gul started becoming vicious, that is when I knew it would not end well. It was evident, in the last few episodes, even more. Especially the 16 & 17, they gave it away.

Hhhhmmmm. I see your point, but I didn't know it was going to go that far.
LibradaJ wrote: The male lead was NEVER endearing, even in the beginning. So how people thought it would end well...*shoulder shrug*... is beyond belief. I think people are more mad with the fact that they made Yoo In Ah's character a jerk ,and not a true romantic, is more of why people are upset. Even in the end I didn't feel sorry for his character at all. Period.

It isn't that I liked the character or really cared if he lived or died at the end. I just think that the whole show had no point and then they ended it with out telling "who did it". Although I am sure we all have our thoughts on that.
For anyone who has seen the ending... spoiler: this article suggests that Ga Young was a suspect in the murder. They give good evidence but what would her motive have been? She went crazy because he left her??

I almost wish I hadn't read that. LOL It opens up a new set of questions to me. ***I was thinking that it was strange that Ga Young acted so calm when you know that she had to have heard the shot...but would she be the kind of person that was so betrayed that she would have Young Gul killed.***

haha~ that's PURE CRUEL... jee, your imagination...
I thought it might be Ga Young's foster mother, she new all about the place in New York and she already had a record as a possible murderer. (she may have killed Ga Young"s parents)

I know...I really can't help it. LOL I want to know "who did it"!!!!

hhhmmm...that is true. See, that is why I don't like the ending...It isn't so much what happened as who did it. BLAH!!!
So many hours of my life wasted! I was interested because I'm a SONE. Then I was excited because I love Yoo Ah In (bc of SKKS of course). Then I stayed because Shin Se Kyung is the cutest. I regret laying eyes on this drama. This is like the worst drama I've ever watched in my lifetime. I feel like I should be payed for my suffering. I hate that they never met again and that he was killed. I'm going to assume Ga Young ordered the hit. It's the only thing keeping me less murderous. I mean how cool would it be if she ordered the hit. Especially with her on the phone while he died giving that cool "I missed ou too." I'm imagining evil laughter from her right now!
PinkDiamond wrote: After I read that spoiler, I told myself that I would watch the last two, but now I don't want to. I feel the writer didn't know how to tie the story up because the characters were all so conflicted...hence the ending. Pft! Aigoo! I gave it a 6. I would've gave it a 7 if it weren't for the ending. I feel cheated in some way.

That's exactly for me! I would've originally given it a 9 until the last few episodes, then I would've given it a 7. But the ending made me give it a 6.

LibradaJ wrote: I loved the ending. It couldn't have ended any better, IMHO. It was pretty evident, somewhere in the middle, how it was going to end up.

I thought they tied up everyone's character nicely despite the fact it sucked from the beginning. LOL I stayed for the second male lead. He was the only interesting character in the whole story. He carried that entire show.

I was rooting for Jae Hyuk from the beginning! Haha

PinkDiamond wrote: As far as the characters go, I believe Young Gul was realistic, which is probably why he hit such a nerve. I don't feel sorry for him either. Never did. But I am opposed to tragic endings such as that. I don't think every drama should end with smiles and giggles but I would have been perfectly content if he ran away and never saw GY again. Or even if both guys got what they deserved. To me, this story wasn't really about just fashion, but greed...and greedy people sometimes get their life cut short in some pretty drastic ways...you know the whole karma thing. I just didn't see that coming. More jail time, and his riches taken away, maybe, but not that.

By the way, I'm not disagreeing with anyone. It's not my style to debate. I'm just expressing what I saw in my eyes.

I agree with you. It really wasn't just about fashion. More about how people change or want more as they come into fame and money. And most of it was Ga Young going back and forth between Jae Hyuk and Young Gul.

I'm disappointed in the ending...** not just because Young Gul died but because I think they could've ended it better. It left questions. Even though I was rooting for him the whole drama, I never expected Ga Young to really go to him even at the end - every time she had a flashback it involved Young Gul and never Jae Hyuk. The chemistry between them was there, but Ga Young as a character didn't seem to show any interest for Jae Hyuk - as Young Gul was the only one she loved. So when it showed her holding hands with Jae Hyuk and happy at the end I felt it was rushed and out of place. Then the ending....I thought at first it was the guys that he owed so much money to that shot him, but after reading through this thread now I'm not sure, haha. I remember reading about a death but I had no idea how it'd be played out. I guess I kind of expected him to jump off from the building and commit suicide more than him actually getting shot by some random guy there.

But if it was Ga Young who had it set up then how did she know that Young Gul would call her precisely when he did? But her reaction....it's just all confusing. I found the ending to be really effed up, I wasn't expecting it to play out like that.
