Like, she comes from a troubled background with useless parents or whatever then she meets a stable, mature, older ML and is immediately drawn to him. And perhaps shamelessly intrudes on his life.

Maybe Doctors? Has a time skip, FL is a high school student in the beginning, later she becomes a doctor.

  1. My mister. You've probably already heard of this but I'm case you haven't, I'll give you a brief summary as to what it is about. So it's basically about this young woman (she's not a teen but she's in her early 20s I believe. 21 or 22). This woman has faced a rough life which has made her a hardened soul and she lives her life trying to care for her handicapped grandmother while trying to pay off her dead father's debt (might have been mother, I forget). She's depressed and believes that she's damned because she Killed a loan shark in self defense . Meanwhile the male lead is a married man in his 40s who was headed for a good position in the company he works however someone who is years junior to him ends up becoming the acting CEO and has a grudge against the male lead which results in the male lead being relegated to a position that is not worthy of his skills. To top it all his wife is having an affair with the same acting ceo. This drama is about how these two people heal each other. When i first read about the show I was a little meh with the age difference but they kinda leave it open as to whether it is romantic love or not in my opinion it was and it's due to the way the story is shown that I did not feel icky about the possibility of the two leads ending up together. But if that's not your kinda thing then don't worry because like I said the ending is open to interpretation.  This show won a baeksang for best drama for a reason and its highly recommended.  The female lead definitely likes the male lead and is the first to confess. She's very innocent in the sense that she can't hide the fact that she likes him. She's very straightforward about her feelings. The male lead however is very careful with his emotions which is why it's really endearing to see him finally show what he's truly feeling as the show progresses.

There is a Turkish Drama kind of like this that I love.

It's called " Kalp Atışı" :)
