Looking for Quirky Movies/Characters/Dramas

I am interested in quirky movies/dramas with quirky and weird stories or characteristics, my example would be Into the Faraway Sky, as the story is and the characters are, indeed quirky. 

I prefer dramas/movies from south korea and japan, but appreciate any recommendations!!

• As the Gods Will:  I find this to be the weirdest death game story. You can also check out other films directed by Takashi Miike.
•  Hello Ghost: A man has some ghosts latch onto him after a suicide attempt and has to help the ghosts fulfill their dreams.
• House: To me this is the OG weird Japanese film. The creator used his daughter's ideas of what was scary to her as a child. You will understand if you watch it.
• Lupin no Musume: A girl from a family of thieves dates a police officer. Hijinks ensue.
• Missing Persons: Unusual storyline in the same vein as the U.S. series Lost. A warning that there is not an actual ending to this series but to me it was worth the ride.
• Saint☆Oniisan: Jesus and Buddha sharing an apartment in modern day Japan.
• Semi Otoko: One of my absolute favorites. A woman tries to kill herself but fails to save a cicada. The  cicada turns into a human to thank her.
• Tales of the Unusual: A four part anthology similar to the Twilight Zone.
• Check out the works of Sono Sion. Pretty much everything he is involved in is weird such as: Love Exposure, Love & Peace, Strange Circus, and Tag.
