'Shows Ending This Week' count different from 'Shows Starting This Week' in homepage

The 'Shows Ending This Week' panel in the homepage has been listing only 8 titles for the past several weeks while the 'Shows Starting This Week' panel lists 12 titles at the same time. Is the difference in the count intentional  or are the numbers supposed to be the same?
