Friend Request “Access Denied”

Hello, for these past few weeks i am not able to search or add my friend as well as her account. We been trying to add or friend request each other but it is not happening. I search her username and can’t find here but she has an account registered here and my friend can’t add me is there a glitch what is wrong? please let me know any information you can give me.
