What's a Korean drama without a nasty villain or two? While it’s easy to fall for the charming and beautiful leads, an effective villain role will oftentimes dictate the success of the story. Although you can’t help but hate them, often, a fantastic villain makes for a great story. Some of the greatest drama gave birth and introduced us to the most ruthless, loathsome and despicable antagonists that keep us hooked and make us root for the heroes and heroines even more. It’s one of the crucial elements in a Korean drama, sometimes we cry and sympathise with the antagonist and some are just downright evil and hauntingly memorable.
