"Watched" List

I guess this is my first kdrama lol. I watched it when it was still ongoing and I was around the age of about 10 or 11.. Anyways, I really enjoyed it when I watched it back then!

At the time I watched it, I thought it was okay; the beginning was kinda interesting, but this is a high school romance so it is definitely cringey and overdramatic and annoying..

Honestly the only thing that interested me in this drama was the twins and their story & interaction which was like.. what? 15% of the story? lol

Dropped.. it's a 50 episode drama and I only watched for the child actors who only showed up a couple times in the 20 something episodes I watched. Also, the drama didn't interest me that much and I disliked the characters.

Dropped.. I hate the teacher-student relationship (If i remember correctly they officially date after she becomes an adult & doctor, but I still didn't really like their relationship)... idk what the hype is around this drama honestly..  Also, didn't like any of the characters..

When I first watched this I actually enjoyed it quite a bit, but this drama was overly dramatic and cringey at times..

Tbh I didn't even ship the main couple but the ending... I know there's a movie but the female lead actress of this drama is not even in it so..

Love the cast (except for maybe fl and ml actors..) and the side couple was kinda cute lol

Dropped; only watched about over halfway through. It was kind of interesting and had potential in the beginning but idk it kind of dragged out a bit and lost my interest. I did try to rewatch and finish it like a year later but I still haven't finished it.

Dropped.. only watched the a couple of episodes. Only watched for the main male lead but overall the drama was pretty cringey and I didn't like any of the characters. (Also, female lead's character and acting kinda threw me off..)

Dropped.. didn't watch last couple of episodes. Everything about it was meh and some things didn't make sense. I also didn't have a character I liked, not even a little bit..

I don't know what it is but I just didn't like the female lead's acting....

besides a couple of things I did not like; it was a good drama and definitely unique in its own way. I don't think there's really any drama like this one

Actually the only kdrama I was watching during that time because I couldn't find anything that was interesting (I'm talking about ongoing dramas). 

Was still enjoyable as the first season but there were a tiny bit more things in it that I didn't like..

Actually don't remember if I watched every single episode in this 50 episode drama but I've at least watched most of it.

Actually took a break from it in the middle because it started to really become this weak female lead & passive-aggressive male lead type of thing and I didn't enjoy it. The male lead also started to ignore and kinda hate on the female lead after leading her on for a long time.. and then the female lead kept trying to get the male lead's attention again which was very embarrassing and annoying to watch honestly.. the ending tho ??

Twas okay but I wish they explained things a bit better and didn't use the same flashback for almost every episode...

Honestly not really the greatest drama. I know that it's not necessarily historically accurate, but the drama was still enjoyable

Love triangles... I wonder when I'll see one where I actually genuinely love all the characters and their relationships with one another..

I think this high school drama does a decent job at portraying high school life. It's not the best but it's better than most high school dramas out there..

The vibe is very similar to Age of Youth! And so I enjoyed it a lot. I also loved it more because it was about people working in the film industry!! Also, the dialogue and the banter is very fun and entertaining! The only critique is that I wish it had more of an arc or journey or plot for the characters. There was some, but it was mostly just day to day life story, which I understand because it is slice of life. The main fl and ml were also a bit annoying at times; I honestly was more interested in the other characters and their stories.. also the main fl's old writing mentor had more screentime than needed.. I'm not sure why she took up so much screentime; she honestly felt useless and out of place in this drama. She could have easily not been shown the rest of the drama after the fl left her workplace..

Arthdal Chronicles is probably my most favorite drama ever. Personally, I think it's one of the best kdramas out there (but I still need to watch a lot of other kdramas, so take this statement with a grain of salt lol)

I dropped it unfortunately... wanted to eventually come back to finish sometime but later I rewatched to try and fully finish and there's just so many things that annoy me (ex: ost and how the same ost was constantly used in a lot of fights, unnecessary romance, annoying fl, sometimes a bit draggy, etc.)... obviously there were a handful of good things in this drama but at the end of the day the only character I cared about was Seonho and Woo Do Hwan definitely did an AMAZING job in portraying him! 

Maybe it's because my expectations were too high because many people were hyping this drama, but this drama didn't meet any of my expectations and bored me a lot.. :/ I know it discusses the important topic of these types of people and places in religious places, but they dragged out a lot of things, and I quickly lost interest.

Had potential but went downhill so fast...

Started watching sometime near second half of 2020 but then put it on hold and finished it in 2021 (in August).

This drama annoyed me so much, but surprisingly, I enjoyed it more than I expected. Also, the soundtrack and the acting skills from the cast!

Honestly, maybe it's because I already knew some spoilers or maybe it's because it was so hyped up by people, but I honestly didn't think it was as great as people said it was. Did it have great moments and bring up some important issues? yes. But the story in the end feels sort of simple? Like it feels like they try to give it layers and it does have layers, but people change and correct some of their attitudes way too quickly and easily.. I don't know how to feel about it.. Tbh I don't understand why they wrote Park Young Jae's story like that... obviously his relationship with his parents are very complicated, but despite some troubles, it did seem like he and his mother loved each other regardless. His father on the other hand was basically abusive and even raised a gun at him.. I 100% relate to what Young Jae said to his mom in ep 2 (I think), even though it did seem like she wasn't exactly all that terrible. I would understand if Young Jae wanted to make up with his mom (but unfortunately she died), but I don't understand how he could easily make up with his dad and how his dad could change so easily and quickly.. I understand that his wife died and that took a tole on him, but that doesn't mean he automatically knows his wrongs and grows. I feel like they should have given him more layers and depth so I could have understood him better.. I also don't like how they made it seem like all this and their troubles are because of the teacher...which is somewhat true but also is not.. and they didn't elaborate further on that with Young Jae's family...

It had some interesting (and sad) points. And I overall enjoyed watching it, but there were couple problems with it like how rushed it was and how they just quickly brushed over certain topics. But eh. what should I expect when it was only 4 episodes? I feel like I would have liked it a lot more if it was a bit longer and they went more in depth on certain topics... Also main fl, love her acting lol. It's not my first time seeing her but I really look forward to seeing more of her!!

Technically I dropped it? I kinda skimmed through the drama and skipped through a stuff so technically I didn't watch it thoroughly.. It was okay in general, but it dragged and there was just so much useless drama.. I mean I guess that's kinda the point of the drama but still. There were, however, a handful of episodes and scenes where it was actually enjoyable to casually watch (which is mostly why I didn't outright drop it and just skimmed through and skipped certain stuff in the drama). Also, really liked most of the main cast lol
