Gong Jung Hwan is a South Korean actor, singer, model, and former member of ARCADE (오락실; also stylized as 5Rock室). He graduated from Kyunggi High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Modeling from Kookje University.

He made his debut in 1994, appearing as a model in the fashion catalogue "Model Line" and remained active in other modeling projects during the rest of the 1990s. In 1998, he decided to join co-ed rock band ARCADE alongside former TWO TWO member Hwang Hye Young and other guest musicians. They released only one album before disbanding, but the title song "After" remains popular in South Korean pop culture.

He made his acting debut in 1999 with a role in the sitcom "Oh Happy Day" and began shifting towards an acting career. But in 2004, he decided to give music one last chance and formed the duo OLD BOY (올드보이) with singer Geum Eun Dong, which unfortunately was not successful. He eventually stepped away from his music career to focus on acting and has been active in the field ever since.
