Jo A Young, born as Jo Ja Young in Seoul, is a South Korean singer-actor formerly known as Ayoung. In 2010, she graduated from the department of broadcasting and entertainment of Dongduk Women's University. She's managed by MADE:B Entertainment.

In 2011, she debuted as a member of a South Korean girl group Dal Shabet (달샤벳). The group has been on indefinite hiatus as of 2019. In 2013, she made her acting debut in the drama "Advertising Genius Lee Tae Baek" (광고천재 이태백).

After her contract with HappyFace Entertainment (해피페이스 엔터테인먼트) expired in 2017, she joined SidusHQ (싸이더스HQ) to continue her acting career. In 2021, she left SidusHQ and signed with iAA Entertainment (now known as MADE:B Entertainment).
