People are saying it's r-porn-- that's gross. I'm not really bothered by the uploading of a porn parody poster,…
@RobertBobert's understanding of "violence" is incomplete

"Violence" is depicted as desirable in "porn," and undesirable but sometimes necessary to counteract certain forms of "violence" in action, horror, or thriller

The first step in moral discussions about media consumption is to address and halt the circulation of rape "porn." It's the most egregious offender of all

If you did some research, you'd realise that lots of women love their rape fetishes. Look up "bodice ripper".…
I'm thinking of adding a few more items, like male curfew, men-only/women-only zones, and a mandatory "Man-Catcher 2000" device for every woman. It's a giant butterfly net that instead of catching butterflies catches the men getting too close. Whatever it takes to keep other women safe and protected

"Lots of women love their rape fetishes"

Lots of women don't. Intelligent women are able to distinguish reality from fantasy, they are also able to identify patterns in media that normalize non-consensual/unhealthy acts, regardless of how “hot” the fictional millionaires, billionaires, or CEOs might be

"... in a safe environment"

Rape is never safe

"What we consume is not necessarily what we want in our everyday lives"

Consumption isn't a passive activity, it influences attitudes and behaviors

"Look up bodice ripper"

I prefer to rip bodices out of passion, not aggression. Garments should stay intact unless "consent" says otherwise

Yeah, that was a big self-own, unforced error on his part. FWIW the original twitter post is gone. But someone…
The kind of "porn" you're referring to as "normal" is rapey and should be illegal

I'm not laughing, why are you generalizing?

I wish those laughing would "get in huge trouble"

Anyone who finds the idea of women getting "raped to death" funny belongs in a comedy court room with a life sentence for crimes against humor

Staying within the bounds of the law shouldn't be the benchmark for acceptable or moral behavior. Would you laugh it off if I shared photos or drawings of you getting a pie smashed in your face? Because it might or might not be illegal, depending on the country?

Do me a favor and flush the rape "porn" you call comedy gold down the toilet with the rest of your problematic baggage. Life's too short (or long) to entertain your shit

Canceling him over this little thing is so dumb, like, actual criminals are getting praises rn LOL
While you're counting up the number of women watching "porn," don't forget to count the number of women being mistreated and assaulted by men

Most rapists are men, most "porn" addicts are men, and the "porn" industry? Run by men, for men. I'd worry about men first

"... and now he is "promoting rape". Things snowballed more ..."

I understand, it'd be unwise to conflate our criticism of the content this actor shared with unfounded accusations of other forms of misconduct

Unfounded accusations as grave as rape would take seconds to spiral out of control and tarnish one's reputation, jeopardize their livelihood, and inflict lasting emotional distress. They should be made if and only if sufficient and corroborative evidence exists to support the claims

"... people jump on the one less famous"

Public figures who haven't reached the pinnacle of fame and fortune are easy targets for disproportionate levels of criticism. They lack the clout and influence to defend themselves against negative attention

I try to avoid the selective application of criticism based on preferences or biases. Harmful actions are harmful, regardless of who performs them

Do u even use instagram? Its not a thing u can do by accident it's a multi step process
"... or a superficial understanding of what is truly valuable"

That's an important point to consider. With the ever-increasing prevalence of social media and celebrity/influencer culture, the focus has shifted from genuine human connection and personal growth towards materialism, external appearance, perceived social status, and instant artificial validation. Women are now more inclined to sell themselves, meaning to monetize their body and sexuality to achieve that instant validation

"I would like for people to listen and comunicate and be balanced/ have common sense, things would be better"

I can tell from the responses you provided to my comments that you approach issues with a calm demeanor and consider multiple perspectives. Your approach is truly commendable

"... people should be able to distinguish, I expect that from people"

In an ideal world, they'd be equipped with the capacity to discriminate between fact and fiction. That's not the world we live in. The average brain isn't conducive to the discernment. Most people lose themselves in the media they consume, and the result is a hazardous cognitive state easily influenced by false information

"... I mean the original source it's a battle royal, they kill eachother for money, they are violent and evil, the AV version should not be any better"

The "violence" in the source material was intended to evoke negative emotional responses of suspense, shock, and fear. The "rape porn" in question did the opposite and sexualized the "violence" for the purpose of arousal

The goal of "porn" is to arouse the viewer. Its depictions of "violence" against women as something to desire or pursue are more damaging than the depictions of "violence" in other genres (horror, thriller, mystery, action) where "violence" is depicted as something to be feared, avoided, or overcome

"It's not training people to see women that way because these people do have famlies mothers, their parent should parent, as long as their educated they should be able to make the diffrence"

At best, the women in their lives would be exceptions to the rule and not examples of how they treat women in general or other women outside of their immediate social circle

Education and parenting aren't enough to counteract the negative effects of media. Media itself should take responsibility for the messages it promotes

"... because women (even celebrities, in the west) have vulgar and indicent content (for money), under the excuse of sexual expresion and empowering women"

Women aren't immune to internalizing misogyny

The shallow and self-defeating "feminism" of liberal ideology that promotes "sex work" indoctrinates women into becoming collaborators in their own debasement and humiliation. It reduces women to passive vessels at the disposal of men's whims

I subscribe to a feminism that disavows the legitimization of "sex work." Ergo, I agree with your comment that men's and women's misogynistic actions should be analyzed and interrogated with fairness and impartiality

Rape is rape. Art has power, and glorified depictions of rape, fictional or real, trivialize a horrific act that causes immeasurable harm to survivors, their families, and society at large

The survivors being fictional and "not real" doesn't change that the effects on the minds and hearts of the consumers of these images are real. The consumers aren't "having harmless fun." They are training their minds to see women as playthings. The more they consume, the more their perception of women becomes distorted

The preferred content people consume in the privacy of their own homes might not be appropriate for public dissemination. If the inappropriate content encroaches on shared spaces and generates discomfort, I will speak up to defend the rights of those adversely affected
