Title Payback
This was SO good from start to finish. I was never bored for a second!

When Sunny said he would take Director Arthur back, Jay really said, “Absolutely not.” He stepped in, kissed Sun right in front of Sunny and said, “Why are you still looking? If you’re uncomfortable seeing people in love, then get the hell out of here” 😭😂

THE SATISFACTION! Sir, you left Sun, what exactly did you think was going to happen? You left him and he found a partner who is 100 times better than you. Now stand there and watch. 😂

I absolutely loved this series. This week we had the Deep In finale, which is the best Chinese 🇨🇳 BL for me, and now Payback ends, which is the best Thai 🇹🇭 BL for me.

Two masterpieces ending in the same week? We are being spoiled and tortured at the same time. 😭

Can we please get more BLs like these two? The bar is officially WAY too high now.

Wow, I don’t think I’ve ever watched a BL with this many kissing scenes! I just binge watched all 8 episodes of Small Theater on GagaOOLala and OMG, they were kissing non stop! It’s actually crazy, so hot and intense. I’m obsessed! 😭
🔥

Does anyone know what happened to episode 8 and 9? They released episode 1-7 and episode 10. They skipped epsidoes 8 and 9

Deep In and Double Helix have topped all the BLs for me. Both were very unique, and the characters were so versatile,…
Agreed! Double Helix was my top Chinese BL until Deep In took over.

My favourites of 2026 and 2025 is very similar to yours except my favourite Chinese bl for 2025 and 2026 are ABO…
I also love ABO Desire and Top Form. A Winter Sun, which is currently airing, is amazing as well!

What makes Wishing upon the Shooting Stars so good?
There are only two Taiwanese BLs this year lol.

Smiles After Tears is awful 😂

Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars is an 8.5/10 for me. It has a unique plot, and the love scene in Episode 8 was one of the best I’ve seen. But the rest are 10/10s for me

This show is so cringe, so stupid, and somehow so funny all at the same time 😂 The plot was weak as hell, but at least it gave me plenty of laughs. I’m actually going to miss Tay and New though 😭😂

Title Don't Be Too Emotional Spoiler
I have never sobbed so hard in my life i felt like Big jane was being judged too harshly and Little jane continued…
Me too, but all the evidence is pointing at Big Jane.

Before Put died in the hospital, he mentioned Big Jane.

The night before Big Jane punched him and almost choked him to death.

It was a hit and run involving a sports car, and Put was killed. Big Jane drove a sport car.

Then there’s that phone conversation where Big Jane said to get rid of the evidence, and Little Jane overheard it.

If I were Little Jane, it would be really hard not to believe Big Jane was guilty. But we’ve watched too many dramas to fall for this. We know Big Jane didn’t kill Put this time 😂 The director loves plot twists like this and wants us to believe we’ve figured it out.

I don’t think Big Jane killed Put. It’s definitely a plot twist. I haven’t read the novel, but from my experience, this is probably one of those misunderstandings that won’t be resolved until the very end.

Title Don't Be Too Emotional Spoiler
What Put did was wrong. Drunk or sober, it does not matter. The moment Jane said no, he should have stopped. No one has the right to cross that boundary.

At least he faced the consequences. He was punched, he admitted his mistake, and he apologized. More importantly, he went to Jane in person and sincerely asked for forgiveness.
But even so, he did not deserve to die.

We all make mistakes. Some are small, some leave scars, and some change lives forever. For Put, that one terrible mistake became the price of his own life.

Yet the person carrying the heaviest burden is Jane. He did nothing wrong. He defended himself, and he had every right to. Still, he will likely carry the weight of Put's death for the rest of his life, wondering if things could have ended differently even though none of it was his fault.

I usually enjoy NC scenes, but this one was heartbreaking to watch. Every touch, every glance, every moment between them felt beautiful and devastating at the same time because, unbeknownst to them, it was the last time they would ever share those moments together.

Title Play Me
Despite its 15-minute episodes, this Korean BL feels surprisingly polished with smooth pacing and strong chemistry between the leads. The story of two former classmates reuniting after years apart is sweet and comforting, with flashbacks that add emotional depth. It may not be groundbreaking, but it's a charming, easy binge that's definitely worth checking out on iQIYI if you enjoy reunion romances and first loves.

Why can’t we mark 2 eps down?🤔
The reason is that MDL doesn’t know how many episodes there are yet.

If you log in through the desktop version, don’t click on the blue tab. Instead, go to your Watchlist tab and scroll down to find Play Me. Then click on the + button. It will allow you to mark that you’ve watched 2 episodes that way.

You’re welcome, and thank you for your kind words. It really means a lot to me and makes me want to write more reviews. I love this series so much that I even wrote an individual review for each episode every week. My Fridays are going to feel so different now that it’s over. I really loved this series. It’s definitely one of the best BLs I’ve watched.

And agreed, China 🇨🇳 really does the best BLs! I have a list of my top BLs too, if you click on my profile you can check them out.

Your question is a bit confusing, but the ending does follow. They have already finished filming Deep In. This…
Yeah, I saw people saying it was a plot twist and all that, but sometimes the series can be quite different from the novel.

So in this case, they didn’t follow the novel exactly and made some changes to the storyline.

So, I am a bit confused about the ending. Aspect ratio changes during the promotion's kiss, implying that this…
Your question is a bit confusing, but the ending does follow.

They have already finished filming Deep In. This is a fan meeting.

Outside the series, Zhang Zhun rejected Zhen Xin’s proposal because Zhen Xin lied to him about what happened that night when he was drunk.

But later on, Zhang Zhun realised that they had actually met years ago while filming a historical drama. Zhen Xin’s feelings didn’t start during Deep In. He had actually fallen for Zhang Zhun years earlier while they were filming the historical drama. This was shown on the TV as a flashback in the hotel room

They were apart for months and both missed each other. They both continued holding onto their rings. Then, during the stage performance, Zhang Zhun said, “Is it too late?” which basically means he wanted to say yes to Zhen Xin’s proposal.

Then they kissed. ❤️

This is real and happened outside the Deep In storyline. It’s not a doctor and patient scenario. That series finished filming ages ago.

Bei Lu Qing is such a mean person *SCREAMING*
He’s mean and cold on the outside, but deep down, he’s actually a very kind person.

He’s definitely better than his sister. At least he respects Xiaofan’s family and always protects Xiaofan.

It’s the same in real life. Some people can talk so sweetly to you, but when something bad happens, they’re nowhere to be found. Sometimes, the people who seem mean or cold are actually the ones who will always have your back and be there for you. They’re honest and straightforward instead of constantly sweet talking you.
