Title Lost to You
I honestly don’t understand how some Thai BLs get so much attention when the plot is weak, the acting feels cringe, and the story goes nowhere. Meanwhile, Lost to You is so underrated even though it is genuinely one of the best series I’ve watched recently.

This series is not just another BL. The storytelling, emotional depth, and character development are on another level. Episode 3 completely broke me and had me crying so much. The way the emotions slowly build and make you attached to the characters feels so real and natural.

Every scene feels meaningful, and the pain, love, and struggles of the characters stay with you even after the episode ends. It is rare to find a BL where the plot itself is this strong while also delivering such emotional impact. Lost to You deserves so much more recognition because this is the kind of series that reminds you how powerful storytelling can be

Episode 5 is my favorite so far.

I feel terrible for saying it, but after both of their homophobic fathers passed away, it is like the world finally stopped standing between them. Now they can live together openly, and every moment between them feels like watching a married couple who survived a storm just to find peace in each other’s arms.

The way they speak to one another is unbearably sweet.
“I do not want expensive cars.”
“I do not want a luxury house.”
“I only want more time with you.”

And when one says, “Even if you are broke and have nothing, I will support you,” it feels less like dialogue and more like a vow whispered between soulmates. They look so happy together that it almost hurts to watch, because happiness in stories like this always feels fragile, like glass glowing in sunlight before it shatters.

There are still seven episodes left, and that is what terrifies me. Right now their love feels soft, safe, and endless, but somewhere ahead waits the moment that will change Lu Feng into someone colder, someone toxic, someone capable of hurting the person he loves most. I cannot stop thinking about how a love this beautiful could slowly rot from the inside.

And maybe that is why I cannot look away. The sweeter they are now, the more heartbreaking the fall will be.

Yi Chen’s father passed away and according to the trailer, it looks like Lu Feng’s father will pass away too.
Both fathers were homophobic, and Lu Feng’s father treated him terribly. He hit him until he was hospitalized, controlled his life for years, destroyed his passport, and threatened to hurt his lover if he stayed with the person he loved.

I feel bad saying it, but they both deserved much better fathers.

Such an underrated Chinese BL. Came across this on GagaOOLala and it completely surprised me. Dark, emotional, thrilling, amazing chemistry, great fighting scenes and soundtrack too. The story between Zhan Wang and Xu Yuan felt heartbreaking yet beautiful. Definitely another 10/10 for me and a must watch for BL fans.

I only do this with my boyfriend, he replied that it’s not a problem, and then started doing it. It felt like a new way of asking him to be my boyfriend, such a refreshing scene. This was in the trailer and I waited so long for it, and now we finally got it. They are officially boyfriends :)

Reminder that China and most Asian countries are corrupted and full of bribery.

In episode 1, Lu Feng strikes his attacker with a brick and is charged with attempted murder, but because he comes from a wealthy family, his father is able to intervene and arrange for him to leave for the United States.

Even if Yi Chen reports what happened, it may not change the outcome because money and influence can affect how justice is carried out. This reflects a broader concern that in some places, wealth and status can impact legal consequences more than fairness.

So I dont think it will make a difference if Yi Chen reported or not.

If you run a company as a CEO and are already under a lot of stress, imagine leaving your country for many years and finally coming back, only to have your father force you into marriage. You are also hurt because you are still waiting for your lover. Even one of these situations would be enough reason to get drunk. Sometimes people get drunk just to relieve stress. So I do not understand what you mean when you say there was no reason for Lu Feng to get drunk?

I watched them all and rated them 10 out of 10. Chinese BL stories with toxic characters are still really thrilling to watch. I know it is not real, but some people get too upset over it.

I have a question regarding other drama.Does anyone know if Lost to You (Wishing Fish Noodle House) has a page?Wanted…
I just watched Episodes 1 and 2 on GagaOOLala and had the same question. I cannot find Lost to You on MyDramaList at all. They probably have not made a page for it yet, which is strange because they usually list almost every Chinese BL series.
This is not even a mini series either. The episodes are over 40 minutes long, so it feels like a proper full drama rather than a short web series.

Episode 4 contained a forced scene, and so does the novel. Revenged Love, ABO Desire and To My Shore and the Addicted novel are even worse in terms of disturbing content.

I know people are going to focus on the forced scene, but please hear me out.

Are we going to cancel every show or movie that depicts rape, violence, or morally disturbing themes? If so, we would have to say goodbye to half of modern storytelling. Shows and films like Game of Thrones, The Handmaid’s Tale, 13 Reasons Why, Outlander, Law & Order: SVU, Monster, Kill Bill, Gone Girl, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo all explore horrific acts. Yet they are praised, awarded, and widely consumed.

Watching dark or controversial content does not mean someone supports those actions. Nobody watches a serial killer movie and thinks, “I want to do that.”

Fiction allows people to confront uncomfortable truths. Stories explore trauma, redemption, violence, and the darker parts of humanity, not to glorify them, but to show their impact. That is one of the main purposes of storytelling. It creates tension, challenges empathy, and reflects society’s ugliest realities.

If audiences only accepted stories with perfect morals and flawless characters, we would lose works like Breaking Bad, Dexter, Joker, The Godfather, and Scarface. Entire genres would disappear.

So no, watching a rape scene does not mean people support rape or are trying to normalize it. It simply means they understand the difference between fiction and reality, something some people in these comments fail to grasp.

Millions of people watch shows like Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, and The Handmaid’s Tale, all of which contain murder, assault, rape, and other disturbing themes. Does that mean every viewer supports those acts? Of course not.

If someone cannot separate storytelling from real life, then that is their issue, not the show’s.

the younger bro was the cause of the end of their relation........... even in the original i wished that bro just…
To me, even if the brother had told Yi Chen earlier, I do not think it would have changed much. They were still separated for all those years and the pain was already too deep. By the end of episode 4, all the misunderstandings were finally cleared on both sides, but Yi Chen still did not want to get back together because he was afraid of getting hurt again.
In my opinion, even if the brother had shown him the texts back then, it would not have made a difference. The issue was no longer just about misunderstanding, it was about the emotional damage and trust that had already been broken over the years.
