I think its now a choice.
I dont worry about her health or care particularly about her.

But i reserve the right to have an opinion and to comment. if you have a problem with opinions then why are you here? On a discussion board???

I do think that people should discuss celebrities and point out that some of their behaviour is fucked up. Celebrities influence so its our duty to point out if that influence is not healthy and to open dialogue. I do realise the image of a actor is edited and is diff from reality and its important to bring this to peoples attention.

Or do you just have parasocial relationships?

What stands out to me here isn’t even the amount anymore — it’s the principle.Tax audits in Korea are protected…
Absolutely - there are laws in place and that official should be punished severely. As an individual he deserves confidentiality. Maybe the media that reported his personal tax situation should also be held liable as the data obtained was illegal.

But if the companies financials are published, then its fair game. The public has access to that data and they are free to analyse and draw their own conclusions about the particular registered business. Is it viable, do the numbers reported make sense for that type of business operations.
Are you arguing that judgment should be withheld here as well?

I don't think this is an appropriate article to post and bringing attention to whatever she is going through does…
Why?
This type of article highlights the issues of eating disorders.
What is wrong with that?

"Who gave you the authority on how a woman’s body should look???"Who gave you the authority to tell…
Commenting and having an opinion is not the same as hating. If that is the case tell me if your opinion is tantamount to hating. You post and your comments are rude and hateful.

People are entitled to have opinions and to express them. If you dont like it then why are you here expressing your opinion about her opinion?

I'm sorry but I've known since she talked about losing weight for marry my husband that this is an ED and not…
She has also gotten a lot of plastic surgery to meet Koreas beauty standards. That and her weight loss is concerning and indicates deeper issues.

I think its now a choice.
Looking good and being healthy are not the same thing.
She may not be anorexic - i dont really know but its her business and her choice.

the first picture (pink outfit) here emphasise how thin she is. Hopefully she is healthier than that pic.

I don't either. Commenting facts is not shaming anyone. One of the issues I see people commenting about here and…
There is a difference between commenting and having an opinion and defamation.

I agree with you that we are entitles to opinions and comments and free speech.
Some people are being defensive - maybe projecting their issues.

Doctor Doctor...
some of us have eyes and the observational skills to recognize possible anorexia. And we have the freedom to express our opinion and comment that she looks anorexic.
What are you going to do about it?
Cry?
Swear?
Make hateful posts insulting users because you think they are insulting a celebrity (the irony and your lack of selfawareness impresses me)

Sue us.

Exactly... It's the people in the comments projecting for me.
You are so dense. You dont do your argument any favours by calling others retard and then also being offended when others are being mean about somebodys body.

Haven't logged in MDL in a while. I had to do because bitches in the comment got diagnosis going on over someone…
so now maybe you can stop being a "stupid cunt" (your words) and mind you own business and let people discuss this article and the celebrity.

People are entitled to have opinions, comment, and discuss on what is observable. Its free speech as long as its not deformation.

Celebrities get a lot of money and part of their job is being in the public eye. If they were not being discussed they would not be getting hired for work.

In most countries, a company is a legal registered entity, and the data is available and open to public scrutiny. If he is a director a lot of that information would registered (public govt websites) and be available to the public as well. Obviously Korean law is probably a lot different.

You cant have your cake and eat it.
I agree actors deserve privacy in their personal life. But it gets complicated because they are a public figure and sell their image to fans and other businesses to use and to sell products. So certainly I think they do have a duty to uphold their image and if there is a potential issue, a duty exists to disclose this to the brands represented and affected because of the contractual relationships entered. Even if there is no legal judgment yet, certain actions will affect perception of the brand.

If an actor did not sell their image to brands, I think they deserve more privacy than those that do.

I don't know what actors/celebrities owe their fans. Their personal lives are none of our business. But i would also be disappointed if they misled and lacked integrity on issues I considered important.

PS I am talking generally and not specifically about this actor
