It may be called "Only Friends" but its just dreaming on. Its a poor imitation.
I see some people are waking up to the reality that its lacking and underwhelming.

They have appeased the cp fans and sacrificed the story, and character development. The dialogue and plot is shallow and immature.

How did they find a way to make Boston boring? Even the actor playing the role seems bored.

I like AouBoom and would like to see them play messy roles in future.

That is despair at your circumstances. I think that circumstances can push a lot, actually most of us over the edge. His maybe temporary, and created by external factors. I dont know enough to make judgment and we are not trained medical experts to do so. Thus its not fair to label him.

There are some people who have a chemical imbalance, and/ or other issues and their mental health does not change with circumstances.

I hate that its being compared to the original /Season 1 because they are in different leagues. GMM took the original, and used its "successful" bl formula to water it down and achieve a safe return on its investment.

I really wanted to like it, but the writing, the character development, and the plot do not have depth. It feels performative. Only Friends had a story to tell. Only Friends Dream on is couple driven project, to increase GMM shareholder value.

I also think the budget and production seems cheaper (maybe somebody with technical expertise could give more information).

Sure its popular but so is mcdonalds - but it doesn't make it quality.

The west cannot compete. I am particularly loving what is happening to the Germans. But now that the west is threatened, they will use soft and hard power.

In the west there is also the arrogance that others history is insignificant because these countries and people are inferior and their lives are meaningless. I agree the west has much to be ashamed but I dont think they care or are capable of shame. They just lie and rewrite history. Im just looking at how they behaved when they murdered 180 school children in Iran.

The west isnt more intelligent, but they are more evil and ruthless and that has given them the advantage. Their empires were built on exploitation. They steal, destroy, divide, overthrow especially when their position of power is threatened or they cant compete. We can see what is happening on the world stage right now. This war is not just about Iran. And although this is a war driven by two of the most evil countries - most of the other western nations are complicit by not standing up to principles of international law. I have respect for Spain and Ireland.

In return I would also like to recommend "Love in the big city". Its korean but its more LGBT than bl, and its one of my favourite because its written from the heart, and the acting is on another level. I would like to see more thai bls coming from that place (even if they are bl entertainment ).

PS What I meant was that some of us have watched a lot more bls. When you have watched over 150 THAI bls with the same tropes you will understand where I am coming from. Im not talking about more smut. I will leave it at that.

OF didnt feel like a GMM production to me. And NOT everyone got the predictable happy ending. Maybe if I rewatch it I will change my opinion - but I was blown away because it wasn't the typical bl offering.

This version has the GMM bl touch all the way through and its delivering for their audience. But some of us are more mature because we have seen so many bls that now we want more depth in storytelling, script, drama, and acting - and not just another fluffy bl couple centric drama.

If this was more adult it may not be as popular or well liked by many here. Im not intending to bring this one down. Its just opinions.

I like some of the actors especially Rome and Raffy. I would love to see them act in more toxic character roles in the future. They are delivering.

I am really impressed with the Chinese and their culture - especially the more i learn. lol and I have also learned a lot from cdramas.
In the west we have not been taught much about east Asian history or appreciation of other civilizations. Im not british but generalising and speaking from my experience.

Im not saying that China is perfect, but I am glad that it is becoming powerful again- taking back their position. Hopefully enough to challenge the west who have stolen, exploited for greed and continue to destroy to stay in power - especially when they cant compete.

GMM took the original (which was raw and messy with real characters) and made a bl version for children.

This season will please more gmm tv bl fans. GMM certainly knows their bl market and delivers for them. But it does not mean it is better. This one is like fast food, its more popular but it lacks flavour. Its toned down for the kids

The other one was the grown up version.
