Cha Eun Woo is a millionaire... he is certainly not starving because of taxes.
Seriously I would not bother to argue with Sher1264 who argued that the rich are honest and charitable and pay their fair share of tax.

The ethics of paying taxies and how much we should pay is different argument.I agree that our tax money is wasted…
I do know. I worked as an accountant in the big4. I also worked in private banking for high net work individuals. We had a dept that marketed tax avoidance products. I am aware that they use various legal schemes to avoid paying tax such as setting up companies and a trusts and offshore accounts. Do you know that some accountants can actually file on behalf of high net work individuals.

Any rational person would minimise taxes and they are very rational in how they structure their income and assets. And this may shock you but they dont hire accountants and lawyers so that they can pay their fair share of tax.

Even some millionaires/billionares have stated that the system is unfair. Buffett had said that he paid about 17% effective tax rate on his income, while his secretary paid 36% on hers.

Have you heard of the Panama papers. Obviously you have been sleeping when the offshore accounts were exposed. Go on I dare you to obtain some knowledge of what the wealthy do. Do you know how to use google?

Sorry to wound your ego and expose your ignorance, but try to educate yourself and get some knowledge how things work instead of arguing that these rich people are charitable and want to pay tax .

The ethics of paying taxies and how much we should pay is different argument.
I agree that our tax money is wasted and misspent on things that dont benefit society. I certainly dont want my money funding a genocide in Gaza because my politicians have been bought by israel. I dont want my money going to projects that benefit certain rich people or companies instead of welfare, education, healthcare. But that is not the issue here.

The issue is that billionaires/millionaires are not paying a fair share of taxes proportionate to their earnings when they can afford to. The burden falls to middle and working class who are struggling.

I heard about this poor bank yesterday and I was laughing so much.
You couldnt make it up.
Somebody should turn this into a comedy kdrama.

lol - well lets hope the tax man is sympathetic and understanding that the reason he set up a company was to protect himself from a rolling door ceo situation.
Its just pure coincidence that it also magically decreased his taxable earnings. That was just very fortunate for him.

I agree it happens a lot - but we don't all sell our brand and our "image of integrity" to make more money. Once you do that you deserve that scrutiny when you do something wrong.

There are plenty of tax evasion ....i mean legal tax avoidance schemes to help out the rich -after all they wrote the rules. Its the middle and poorer classes that have a heavier tax burden. Buffett had said that he paid about 17% effective tax rate on his income, while his secretary paid 36% on hers.
Damn us for not being billionaires.

You are right. I also think that pretty people shouldnt pay tax.

We should all have empathy for the rich and their money problems. Its so unfair that they should have to pay tax like the rest of us. The tax money has got to come from somewhere.
This is where braindead, i mean devoted fans like yourself come in. Please help him and pay up his 20bn tax instead.

If you (and all his fans) cant help this poor pretty boy with his money problems, then you are all just fake fans and probably haters. And you dont really like him more.

Thanks for sharing. This is so amusing and I cant stop laughing.
Committing tax fraud and being brand ambassador of a bank - couldn't make this up.
I think i have come up with a kdrama comedy plot.

People - even pretty millionaires have to pay their share of tax.

Unless his mother and accountants committed fraud, he signed of on this and had knowledge. And he is ultimately responsible.

Jeff Satur has both the looks and the voice. He is one of the most attractive and striking actors with gorgeous bone structure. I like his voice but Im not a good judge of judging voices(like i cant say if his is better than Billkin or how it differs) although I can tell that Bright is not too good.

I watched an older kdrama (2010) and its nice to see Korean actors with their natural colour. The same actors have become very white after 2020. I prefer them with the natural colour.

I have to admit that i think the asian actors with dark hair and eyes and snow white skin look so attractive. The chinese dramas particularly take it to the extreme but it looks so good. I was teased for being too white (everybody tanned in my country - not the uk ) but the Chinese actors make me feel inadequately white.
I think that dramas should use actors that represent the population otherwise it leads to discrimination in society. It becomes aspirational to be white. It sends a bad message.

I can tell the diff between the typical Thai, Japanese, Korean and Chinese actors "typical" looks but Thai is more mixed as you say.
I do think i prefer Guns pretty features more. And the fringe gives him a pixie look.

Well as of yesterday, his ship with Ping has been 86’d. 😔
Im so sorry for the fans of this ship and that you are sad.
I didnt wish for the end of this partnership with Ping (but Im not a big fan of ships in general)
Hopefully they can take on roles and partner with different actors like Pond (from restart) and we can see them grow as actors.

I gave possible reasons why its impossible to continue to have a discussion, and I tried to understand the reasons why you dont see what what others see. I was trying to understand why you are arguing that something did not happen when it did. You are the only one arguing that Jimmy has integrity.

Either way I concluded that its impossible to continue based on your interpretation of reality v mine (and many others). We all have subjective opinions but yours diverge greatly. It wasn't a personal insult.

Its your choice to get emotional about a fact, accuse others of throwing a tantrum, and then throw one yourself.

@aplrbn: What are the production standards that thai bls deliver to make them superior to Korean and Japan bls.
Could you give OBJECTIVE examples of what Thai bl productions do better. Can you back your opinions with some facts .
How are Thai bl production standards considered superior?

Show us your objective knowledge about directing, lighting, acting, editing etc.

i have been having internet issues which has limited my bl drama watching career.

Bright is known for not being able to sing. There was a funny video mocking his singing . Not that I can as I dont have a good ear. But I like Jeff Satur voice

I have seen some pictures of Wins brother and he is also gorgeous. I didnt know he acted and will make a point to look him up.

Thai features.
There was controversy in "Im the most beautiful count" because they hired white actors and used fake tans. Most of asia is white obsessed.
I like plump lips - they are generally more attractive than thin lips. But i have noticed that Thai bl actors tend to have Korean/Chinese features.

Gun is so good looking with the makeup. what it can do. I guess what is more important is how the lips work with your face overall (and other features).

I see you haven't watched many Thai bl shows then. I mean the concerns you raised are considered features of thai…
Thanks for the recommendations.
Having some issues with internet access issues with mobile and broadband provider for past couple of days - so my access is limited, and bl watching is put on hold.

I have not seen Cherry Magic (jap + thai) but will put them on the list. I didnt think it would appeal to be but I will watch.

Between Us got a 10 from me. I loved the chemistry between those two. Boun is my first bl crush. I couldnt get enough of the show so I went and read the book. Its one of the few dramas I rewatch.

I have a lot of catching up to do with Taiwan bls and Kiseki is on my list.
I have avoided watching The Eight Sense because its one that I have been saving - once I got some others out of the way. I have watched the first episode months ago and like the mood. Also I had lived in South Africa and the director is South African. Its just such a pity that he has not continued directing and writing.

Your reality is not tuned in to what I and most others are seeing, and its pointless having a discussion. I have nothing more to add.

On what basis would you compare the production standards of Korean v Thai to argue that Thai is better? Do you have specific examples?
