I do believe Farrow & Ball have multiple, multiple branches in Seoul, Taipei and Bangkok! :)
laughed at this comment and then noticed the user name.
I had actually read your review for Eccentric Romance (i had placed that green tick) and it amused me enough to bookmark Eccentric Romance in viki.
Yes, it posed a dilemma for me. On one hand it kind of persuaded me to avoid, but made me curios enough to want to watch it for amusement value so I could really appreciate the review better.
I will most certainly go through your other reviews.
I watched this a while ago. It deserves a higher rating for an engaging story. Its a story about fear of intimacy and getting hurt. That fear leads to behaviour that is toxic. The characters are flawed, damaged from previous experiences and this explains their behaviour. I dont like the way that Sher hits out to express himself but that does not mean the show deserves to be panned because you dont like or approve of the character. I watch shows to learn and understand different characters. The damaged ones are more interesting. Imagine how boring it would be if all the cast were perfect. Then there would not be much of a story to tell.
Ignore the reviews. I would recommend this show. Its engaging. Its raw. Its worth watching.
The reviews were created by hysterical individuals. Its ridiculous to downvote a series for telling a story of flawed characters trying to come to terms with intimacy and trust
I didn't understand why Sherbert resorted to violence for everything. I mean he was always hitting that dude.
Learned behaviour. Unable to express himself, anger issues, and maybe that is how he was treated as a child. A few hypothesis I didnt like it either (hate violence) but I love the show for portraying damaged characters.
I compiled this handy guide for Thai BLs a while ago:https://mydramalist.com/profile/sasameyuki1950/review/426632I…
Yours has become my favourite review along with this one below which has 567 likes. https://mydramalist.com/profile/10112203/reviews I dont know if you have come across it but its funny as well. Its for Unforgotten night (part of Yoe Nim Love Syndrome universe - where I become familiar with Lee Long Shi). The review persuaded me to watch it.
I'm confused about PerKan. I don't understand their history, how they know each other. They seem like friends,…
Hey these are strong soldiers here. They only got a bandage. Typically, Thai men get a fever and are in bed for a couple of days, as we watch them being wiped down, and being nursed to health by the other male lead
I think the story so far may be good. If its messy & toxic like Only Friends then I going to be watching. The visuals are outstanding. Glad to see Lee in this role. But all the actors are hot. And so far I not bored and want to know more.
I think a lot of things could have been done better re editing, slow motion, flashbacks. I dont know why many Thai productions have this strange way of editing series that makes it messy.
People are commenting on consent issues - "Knight kissed Mild without consent " etc. People should realise that this is a FICTION series and toxic behaviours make shows more interesting. I mean if you watch a action movie do you sit there and point out how bad it is to punch someone, or shoot someone. I hate violence and avoid action or war films. If I watch that genre I don't feel the need to point out that violence is unacceptable at every punch and that we shouldn't be watching it at this day and age.
chinese version is more historical and authentic. Korean version is too much popculture type, all good looking…
Thanks. Im in the process of watching both (at same time) as they are more or less different stories. I think Korean do style well. The Chinese is more substance and authentic.
I said somewhere further down that this is a vanity project for NNZ in "pretty" costumes. A good script, an engaging plot, consideration of the supporting actors - that is all incidental.
Loved this movie. Its about survival and clutching on / using any means available when you dont have any other options left.
The doctor is using sex to revive a "patient". The drugs of sec to degrade and torture, to make the victim hit rock bottom, to make him feel, to ignite something that wills him to survive. I found some parts difficult to watch and fast forwarded. This is a film i would rewatch.
Its twisted and its beautiful. It deserves a higher rating. if you enjoyed this then I also recommend another film called Sing in Love (2022)

I would love to see Top in another role. He was fantastic in Every you Every Me.

Is the character missing on Cast & Credits Section?
Also has anyone read the novel - or knows where its available?
