I agree 100% that Nu was miscast - should have been someone younger and smaller. Also Chain/Jorn story does not make sense due to size difference.

in the book- Chain did not cheat he is the good guy and its a misunderstanding.
in the book - Jorn was champion fighter which could explain diff in strength but even then... i dont buy it as Chain was an athlete.

I doubt there will be a season 2 especially since the actors are suing management company for contract termination for not being paid fully.

Shane slept with Johnathan as a desperate and selfish attempt to keep him around- not because of boylove romance feelings.

Shane seduced Carrie when she was vulnerable after being rejected by Johnathan.

I liked the unpredictable ending.

I rated it highly because it was good and deserves recognition. They took a risk to produce this show and am grateful

They had a limited budget but despite that it delivers and is a quality show. And it has a happy ending.

And yes - some parts are toxic but its FANTASY and FICTION. Funny how people dont care about violence, but when they hear toxic their selective morals come into play.

No shit - Shane having sex with Jonathan who is just a best friend is worse behaviour. He cheated on her as well. But as she is a woman - she is the worst.

I just finished this drama and enjoyed it a lot more then most k dramas .
I think people hated the lead actress (she was that good in her role) for her narcistic personality and downvoted based on that.
I found it interesting to explore and understand and without judgement the characters, and their past experiences, that drive them to behave in a certain way.

The lead actor Ryeo Un was incredible in this role.

Everyone is speculating without having knowledge (particularly of the contract terms) and believe one PR team over the other. It makes no logical or financial sense to breach even if you are greedy - unless you have no options as it will have a detrimental effect on the actor.

They also have a huge ra.pe problem in their society. Where you often hear about a couple of men rap.e a woman and get away with it because they are men, and because of the caste system where essentially if you are a lower class you are an object.

KSH is an interesting case but seriously the media in India should focus more on the corruption in their legal system and how its abused by rapi.sts. Unless they dont care about the caste system or womens safety.

You are so right about the music choice on TNP. I had missed that. the music choice alone would put it in an "objective" above average category at the very least.

I agree with your opinion about practicality but Im not judging fiction nc based on reality. In fiction things like sex on the beach, or in water or with honey can be hot and romantic. I go with it.

But I can usually take a step back and differentiate when something is objectively good or its something I love based on my subjective bias and personal preferences.

Personally if I judge the TNP scene objectively - it was average and non memorable compared to other dramas - both in the making love and f****ng category. (musicismyjoy93 ).

I get that people here prefer TNP and its the best scene out for them.
