I struggled to watch this film and put it aside when it got to the rape scene. It took about two months for me to finish watching. The film is not so much about a rape as it is about the effects or rape and recovering from rape . And how easy it is for a life to spiral into destruction.

Its traumatic. Its sad. But it was worth watching. The two lead actors were excellent (as was the rest of the cast). I am so conflicted about the ending. But it made an impact.

To those who call it toxic
You dont have to watch this type of genre. But stop calling for CENSORSHIP on what you perceive to be toxic dramas. Its a slippery slope and we end up NOT having dramas like REVENGED LOVE if you dictate morality and tell people what is appropriate to watch and what cant be produced and viewed.

I watched some on the first episode and am dropping it because I cant follow it or get into it. I think there is a prequel and possibly you need to see that to be into it

Dear NLL - you need to get some professional help

Just started watching this today. I have seen 3 episodes so far and Im favourably impressed .
Im interested in the story, the leads and support couple, and I want to know more.
Its well filmed and edited (not that Im an expert).
I would rather watch this then another big costume drama with a huge budget.

I think Thai men are better looking than Korean (only mentioning Korean because they are currently in fashion). In my opinion, I think he is better looking that Byeon Woo Seok (who is also great looking).

Bl dramas dont have much to do with real gay life. Also this is a bl drama and not about real gay peoples lives.
Also a lot of gay men do not consider themselves queer. I dont know if you are speaking on behalf of all gay men or all queers.
Gay men have a gender preference - kind of what makes them gay.

A certain Flower was extremely rude and blocked me and many others who criticised the show and the two main leads.

Im enjoying this board, but Im not trying to harm anyone as some people may have mental issues like celebrity worship syndrome so need to be mindful of other people

lol - its all in good fun . The comments are more entertaining then the show .

I'm not the target audience for this show - I love angst and toxicity (My stand in, Only friends) but some of the postings by overzealous and rude fans here have satisfied that toxic requirement. And they have annoyed me.

-Some fans cant accept criticism and responded rudely to people who posted contrary opinions.
-I also read that certain TNP fan clubs were told to downvote another show (the voting here and the reviews feels rigged). To me that is unfair.
-Also its annoying when obsessed fans cant see that this is "the emperor is not wearing any clothes" type of show. They are blinded by big budget, costumes, set designs

I m usually not so critical as I dont expect much from Thai bls (although there are some good ones especially recent ) - only that they engage. But they spent so much money on this - so its annoying

I didnt mind the ending. I like endings that are not definitive, that are sad, that are ambiguous, etc. I can appreciate them because thats how life is.

But it was a crime not to explore his psyche further in the last few episodes. Instead the second male lead actor become the lead actor and it felt like the story had suddenly changed. That is why I cant give it a 10. (Dont get me wrong, I adore the second lead actor -but thats not the point). This is one of my top 5 korean drama.

I wish there were more shows that feature and explore antiheroes that are dark, twisted, amoral, morally complex, toxic etc.

I gave it a 9.5 because I felt the last few episodes did not fit well.
I also read up that they minimised Yoo Jung role.

I loved it and it kept me engaged unlike most other kdramas

I have watched a lot of Kdramas that bored me. In fact, struggle to finish a lot of them.
But this drama had me engaged. It was different.

I was fascinated by the Yoo Jung as a character - i felt he could have been darker, and that would have made it more interesting. I enjoy observing more complex characters.

Baek In Ho was such a cutie here. Major second lead syndrome.

If anyone can recommend similar types of shows - then thank you in advance.

I enjoyed the experience of watching the show.
Its a Thai bl so I dont raise the bar too high. (sometimes i dont even raise it). Most times I look past all the technical stuff like editing, camerawork, acting. I focus on how I feel watching the series, how it engages, and I get distracted by the pretty faces. I was distracted enough not to notice all its shortcomings.

I never not notice the music that accompanies the nc scenes. (WHY???) But its there with 99% of Thai bls.

I have also said that in a comment further below. And agree about the side characters.
The review section is interesting.

Its just very suspicious when there are 11 pages of reviews already. It seems that the majority of the reviews were made between 4th-10th of May after having viewed 1 episode. Out of these reviews - about 95% give this a 10 for everything. (Story, acting, music, rewatch value).

It does not look like a normal distribution. It feels like too many fans have manipulated the voting at least in the review section.

It does not do a service to women to have females that are badly written or to be there only to irritate and take up space. I see so many misogynistic comments on bl shows when its not even an annoying girl/s - why write them in.

I also dont like GL pairing in every Thai BL show. Its not why Im watching bl.

Its sad that its assumed that older people (by a few years) and/or people in power are ALL predators.

It does not reflect well on society or people that are making broad assumptions. Not everyone is a groomer or will sexually exploit the young.

Its wrong to accuse someone of being a predator because you think they can potentially be one. Its like assuming a man in the park with a child is automatically a paedophile and not the childs father.

Seriously I dont see the big deal.
They are actors and professional. And if you know and trust someone it would make the acting easier.
If there were nc scenes I would not think that much of it if its 21 and 27 yrs old. Again its acting.

Not all older people and /or people in power are predators.
