The reason they have such low ratings is that they are genuinely bad, and a lot of them feel fake. The editing is poor, there are barely any dates or activities, and there is very little actually happening. This is especially noticeable if you watch a lot of dating shows, such as Chinese dating shows, where there are usually plenty of things going on, including romance, dates, and activities created by the production.

Compared to those, Korean dating shows, or more specifically *Heart Signal*, can feel incredibly boring. The contestants mostly just sit in a living room talking nonsense. It starts with some attraction, but by the end, they often seem bored with each other. Even the dates are always the same: going to a café or eating some kind of meat.

I think this is a big reason why the ratings are so low. For people who watch a lot of dating shows, Korean dating shows can be some of the most boring ones to watch. I think shorter shows, such as *Mind the Nona Gap* or *Better Late Than Single*, are less boring, and *Exchange* is also much more entertaining.

Better Late Than Single was another disappointing show. No one ended up together in the end. Like with so many Korean dating shows, people may even make a confession at the end, but in reality, they don't actually get together.

I prefer shows like Mind the Nona Gap. It's more fun to watch, even if we know that the age gap might eventually become a reason for them to break up if they actually continue the relationship in real life.

This season was great for me. i liked it more than season one that I dropped before watching the end :D.

Loved the final couple. I was rooting for them :D. Why this show gives the final couple only 4 minutes in the end? lol they need to make at least the last episode longer with some extras.

There is still one last episode to be released on the 19th or 20th of this month. The only couple confirmed to end up together is He Jiang and Zhang Zixin. Apparently, they will even kiss in the last episode.

There is still no confirmation about the other couples. In one preview, it shows the cast after the show has ended, watching clips from the season together. He Jiang and Zhang Zixin are sitting next to each other, while the other expected “couples” are sitting apart, with the girls on one side and the boys on the other. This made us think that no one else ended up together.

But maybe that was just another “bait” from the producers. Dating shows love doing that, specially when there are already rumours about the ending couples. 😂

This is the worst season so far. Except for the main lead couple, Jiang and Zixin, the rest of the cast is really boring. The previous seasons, with the original panelists and older cast, were much more enjoyable to watch.
This season is filled with passive men and boring women, with the exception of the main couple. And Chunzi is by far the worst of all the women.

Are you a dummy? He was the only proactive guy in the show from the very beginning, the only one besides Jiang. The other four guys in this show are basically just there to exist.

This show isn't the best compared to many other Chinese dating shows, but even compared with the previous seasons, it's one of the worst. The men, for the most part, have no initiative. If it weren't for a few of the women, some of these guys probably wouldn't even get a date.

The Chunzi girl is also another annoying character.

If it weren't for the main couple carrying this season, Jiang and Zixin, this show wouldn't even be worth watching.

Also, if they were going to change the panelists for the worse, they would have been better off keeping the previous generation. They were much better than the current ones.

This season also has too many young people. Maybe that's why some of them don't seem mature enough to even hold a proper conversation with someone of the opposite sex. Watched 6 episodes so far and I am already bored to death, but I will end just to see the couple Jiang and Shinzi finale.

His interest never changed, he didn't really like her. He only reciprocrated her interest, but you could see him, like the other guys, pursuing Sha Yue'er too. Now he has better chemistry with the new girl. SiSi has the entire show to find someone. Aparently Bohan will show interest in her. Let's see.

They formed four couples this season, which is why people are hyping it so much. I still think Season 3 was the best, but Season 5 wasn't bad either. That said, many Chinese dating shows are pretty good, even when they sometimes only end up forming one couple.

You already like a girl you only saw for less than 10 minutes in an episode; lol. The girl arrived in the last 10 minutes and is already someone you like.

Contestants I like/appreciate are Cui Kaiyi, Yiheng, Hewen, and "Xiaoyu"

My boy needs to talk more. His friend gave him the perfect chance to spend some time alone with Kaiyi in the living room, but he practically did nothing with it. She already told him in a message that she wants to see "a more lively and passionate side" of him. If he doesn't open up, stays as quiet as a piece of furniture, and can't keep a conversation going, it's going to be really hard for him on this show. Specially with her. 😂

There’s a reason this show has reached nine seasons, with its audience growing every season. *Love Actually* only had two standout seasons, in my opinion: Seasons 3 and 5. *Heart Signal*, on the other hand, has produced many great couples over the years.

I would rank *Heart Signal* as the best Chinese dating show, with *Love Actually* in second place. The biggest difference between them is their target audience and cast. *Love Actually* focuses on a more mature cast and audience, while *Heart Signal* features younger participants and appeals to a younger audience.

As a result, the overall tone can be quite different. *Heart Signal* tends to have more emotional moments, with people crying and more drama, while *Love Actually* has a calmer atmosphere, with a more emotionally mature cast that generally handles rejection or a lack of romantic interest better.

I was also really invested on zhou yuling, either if he ended up with liu liu or Danqi. He liked Liu Liu since the started and did stick to her till the end. In the end, after watching the extra episodes, I really like their relationship, they are very sweet to each other and that is what matters. I wish them happiness.
