Honestly, I enjoyed the drama. The characters are amazing and very well developed. Ling Long, in particular, really won me over. She is a strong protagonist who stands out from the usual mold, and the fact that she has abilities that the male lead does not possess makes their dynamic much more interesting.
Yang Yang also helped a lot in keeping me interested in the story. In fact, I think that if it weren’t for the cast and such charismatic characters, I might not have made it to the end. The fight scenes were also quite enjoyable.
On the other hand, the story itself didn’t captivate me as much. At times, it felt like an investigation that dragged on without any major surprises, and the ending didn’t leave me completely satisfied.
Overall, it didn’t make it onto my list of favorites, but it’s far from being bad. It’s worth watching for the characters, who are undoubtedly the strongest aspect of the drama.
I really loved this drama! It was excellent, especially for a mini-drama. Honestly, this storyline had enough potential to be a full-length drama.
Even as a mini-drama, I feel like it deserved more episodes. I've watched plenty of mini-dramas that were much longer and nowhere near as good as this one.
Another thing I appreciated was the lack of overly toxic characters. Sure, there were antagonists, but they weren't one-dimensional villains. In fact, I could understand where they were coming from. Considering the era they lived in and the limitations placed on them, they were doing the best they could within their circumstances.
Overall, this was a wonderful surprise, and I would definitely watch a longer version of this story.
And yes, being blind to one's emotion can be a result of what you said "repressed emotions" of constantly…
Exactly, you understand me. That’s why his brother’s words hit me so hard too: “all stories are just cries that we exist.” I think emotions are the same way sometimes. When people repress themselves for too long because of society’s expectations, their emotions eventually become a desperate way of saying, "this is how I exist".
I think what impacted me the most about this drama was the way it talked about control and emotions. Society usually accepts feelings only when they are beautiful, organized, silent, and convenient. Suffer, but suffer quietly. Cry, but without bothering anyone. Feel, but in an acceptable way. The moment someone overflows emotionally, they immediately become “too much,” “difficult,” or “problematic.” But almost nobody tries to understand where those emotions came from in the first place. And that was the most painful part to watch: realizing he wasn’t someone full of malice, just someone exhausted from constantly repressing himself in order to fit into the “right” way of existing that people expect from him. In the end, I think this drama was much more about personal growth, identity, and how painful it can be to remain yourself in a world that tries to control even the way you feel.
Is he completely insane? Yes. Obsessive, frustrated, and ridiculously rich? Also yes. But at the end of the day, all it took was a collar and one look for him to fall completely whipped.

I'm thinking about to watch this drama, but I'm not sure yet.Can someone please let me know, what this drama is…
I don't know if you've watched it, but I just watched it, I really liked the personality of the protagonist, she's smart and cute... It's good to pass the time... OBS: the male protagonist is ugly (sorry, I'm a little superficial) but the female protagonist carried the series.
what is the story of this actress? why is everyone calling her suicidal actress i dont get it. Can someone tell…
She died by suicide in 2025, and the case became huge news in Korea. The police investigated and said there were no signs of a crime. She had already been under a lot of public pressure since her scandal in 2022, receiving massive hate and losing jobs. After her death, her family alleged that she had been involved with actor Kim Soo-hyun from “Queen of Tears” when she was still a minor. He denied that part, and the situation turned into a major controversy with lawsuits and ongoing investigations in Korea.
