A wild ride for two stubborn leads and first questions.

I hope I’m in for a wild ride with these two stubborn characters taunting each other! I love the tension. It seems neither lead is willing to surrender to the other. This is exactly the kind of dynamic I want to see—watching the development of a relationship where both sides are equally strong-willed. One major question has risen for me: both leads met as children, and Shen Du gave Yan Xing a talisman/necklace, which we see in her flashbacks. However, Shen Du’s third condition for their marriage caught my attention: "She’s not the wife he wants to marry." This makes me believe he has someone else in mind—perhaps the girl from his childhood? If so, he’s actually married to the right woman but doesn't know it yet! I can't wait to see if this is a translation trick or a major plot point.

Hooked by Ding Yuxi’s presence!

I am starting this show solely because of Ding Yuxi. I loved him in his other work and wanted to see more. His character, Shen Du, has such a domineering presence in every scene—he truly takes the spotlight. I am already hooked and so excited! I still get that thrill of suspense whenever he enters the screen. I feel like a total fangirl, but his performance is just that good!

Love the banter of our leads!

I loved the dynamic between both main characters! This episode was much more fun to watch than the first one, likely because the leads finally met. Their interactions are quite funny and have a great energy. 🙂

I am here for Dylan Wang!

I am starting this show solely because of Dylan Wang; I'm intrigued to see him in this kind of villainous role. To be honest, I’m not entirely convinced I'll stay until the end yet, as the first episode didn't quite grab me. I even found myself a bit confused at times, trying to figure out if certain scenes were flashbacks or the present day. However, I’m still curious to see where the story goes, so I’ll definitely give it a few more episodes!
