The slap was well deserved! 👏 She's furious about being manipulated into this, and even her body tried to resist, hesitating to do what was asked of her... and the symbol of the Lin family on the food and items reminded her of what she went through all those years ago. 🥺🫂Bittersweet, oh, so bittersweet... I loved this episode for so many reasons, yet for some reasons it still broke my heart. And the girls... She was so worried they wouldn't be friends anymore. 🥹🤧Now I am excited to see how he slowly wins her heart... 😏P.S. One of them pointing out to Jinqi not to offend Han Liang because he might become Grand Secretary and make his life hard... should I worry? 🤔

I guessed right—Feibai did go to Lishan Academy to check what's happening there. ☝️And it's exactly what we already suspected: there's no one left. Since we haven't actually seen any graves yet, I won't jump to the conclusion that they are all dead just yet, but I still think it's the most likely answer to their fate. 😟🤧The surprise on everyone's faces when they saw Mo Xiuyao standing—no, dancing with the blade—swift, precise, and deadly... AMAZING! 🤩😏Su Zuidie looks very suspicious to me, and it seems she doesn't have a very good relationship with Princess Lingyun. 🤔 I noticed back in the previous episode that the Princess was somewhat displeased when Zuidie took it upon herself to decide on the carriage arrangements, regardless of whether it was the right call or not. I'm actually starting to get the feeling that she intentionally collapsed in front of Lady Wen's carriage just to worm her way inside Prince Ding's mansion! 🤨😟Also, Mo Jingli and Ye Li's letters being added to the mix might stir up some serious trouble for our lovey-dovey couple. 🫢I wonder why Consort Dowager Qin pleads such loyalty to the Empress Dowager. Is she genuinely that loyal, or is she just pretending to be? 🤔🤨

By the end of the episode, everyone had made some sort of peace with the fact that the Lin family's eldest son will marry their ex-maid. Of course, for some the grudge will stay longer, but for some it has already passed. However, in the end, those grudges don't matter much, because no one can really do anything about it as that would be going against the Emperor's will. 😌Well, all I can say — well played, Jinqi! I can only hope you will be satisfied with what you'll get for it. 👏😐 Master Lu advised Lanxiang to use this situation to her advantage and make it her shield and sword, and I have no doubts that she will... 🙂↕️I absolutely adored the Lin children here. They were ready to improvise on the spot to soften Jinqi's punishment, and still are ready to do whatever is needed in the future. 🤗 But Furong became even dearer to Lanxiang through sharing the same story of how she lost her family 23 years ago... 🥺🥹But I wonder a little bit, who her family was and for what treason they were punished... Could it be that it happened sometime around the deposition of the previous Emperor? Maybe she knew who Uncle Liu was? (but she hasn't shown any signs of being affected by his death in any way, so probably not) 🤔

This episode... so many emotions. I cried over them burning paper for the Shen family and the real Lanxiang. And because of this Emperor, Master Lu is the last of his family too. I don't know if he truly did, BUT I have a hunch he might have understood Lanxiang's true identity — that she's one of the Shen family. 😭And we finally saw Grand Secretary Zhao Jin's face! To be fair, he didn't look cunning at all, so he masks his scheming nature very well. 🫣But, oh, the imperial decree... It broke many hearts, especially everyone's around Lanxiang, but luckily not mine... I know she is destined for Jinqi and I will wait for this marriage to be filled not only with Jinqi's love, but also Jialan's, which eventually will grow in her heart too. 🥺But as for now, I assume there will be a bit of a bumpy road ahead, because the Lin family elders didn't look happy about this decree. 😔

Jinqi is such a sly fox! But at least we can finally see him being all flirty, a bit shameless, and very attentive to Lanxiang. 😏Even if she says she won't, I think she will go with Jinqi to the capital. He is bringing way too many people along, so my guess is the whole plot is moving there. And considering that Han Liang and Zhao Xingtang will also be there, that makes even more sense. 🤨 And the capital is the place to learn who buried the Shen family (my bet is still on Jinqi) and clear the Shen family name. 🙂↕️Maybe her learning what he did for her family (that is, if it was him) will be the moment she finally lets him love her... She might even develop feelings for him before then, but will have mixed feelings about how to act on them because of what happened to the Shen family. 🤔Anyway, I am so excited to watch them together — arguing or not, doesn't matter! 🙂↕️

Yeah, just what I was afraid of... They didn't see each other. BUT at least she managed to escape anyway, though I am a bit sad that most of the credit went to Scholar Han. 😥I really hoped someone would recognise Jier. I get why Jinqi didn't, because why would he, if she was just a 3rd rank maid for a brief moment in their residence and served him personally just once? How many times did it take for him to finally notice Lanxiang? Definitely more. So, no wonder there. BUT, I did hope Nanke or Jiugao would... 😞 Now I can only pray that she doesn't get killed until someone gets there to free her. 🥺🙏But I applaud Lanxiang for exposing the Duke's daughter for what she did to her. 👏 Even if she's now in a dangerous situation because of the Duke's rebellion against the Crown Prince. (I won't be surprised if the Crown Prince dies, to be fair) 😔 And again we got a cliffhanger that makes me wish for tomorrow to come sooner!

Such a relief they got out unscathed and even befriended Scholar Shouyi. Jialan was so clever to use her grandfather's teachings, and knowing Feng Shouyi was rejected by him! I bet we're gonna visit Qixia Academy at some point. 😌😮💨And even though Jialan's spy career for Jinqi wasn't long, she has caught his attention, because from her conversation with Feng Shouyi, he noticed she's not an ordinary maid. 😏And I am so amazed by Li Meng's talent. All the emotions Xingtang had, the body language and facial expressions — beautiful. 👏 I can't hate that character. Fate and the Zhao family, combined with her own mistakes, have put her where she is now, but I genuinely hope she can get her freedom and live the life she deserves. 🥺And our trio... They are so adorable. I love their sisterhood!🤗🥹

Jinqi doesn't love his wife and had to marry her to save his family? That explains why he left home practically right after the marriage, and solidifies my suspicion that he might be the one who buried the Shen family's remains. And I kind of like the fact that everyone seems uneasy when he's around. Are they afraid of him? 🤨The order for young unmarried servant girls to enter the Lin residence really put a lot of tension on the Xu family, and Wanquan even got scammed and almost lost all their money for trying to save his daughter. 😟 Luckily, Jialan's wisdom saved him once again. I really love how smart she is and how well she can win arguments with those people. 😮👏But in the end, it still was unavoidable for her to enter the Lin residence. And there she saw him, yet he didn't even spare the tiniest look at the servants. And why would he? There's nothing to see, as they are not important to him. But that scene still made me sit in suspense, questioning — will he, won't he... 😳 I can't wait for him to see her and see what happens, because I have a feeling he will be quite drawn to her. 😏

Another amazing episode with them being so sweet and adorable! 🤗🥰I loved to see how Nian is getting even more attentive and gentler with his words, and he finally introduced her to his friends! He really has changed for the better. And I absolutely loved their scenes with Luke the dog and how quickly Zhitao got Nian to accept him! They were so funny and cute. 😊I hope Zhitao won't be too upset about him not being ready to introduce her to his parents. I agree with Nian that this might not be the right time yet — firstly, because they are supposedly a secret, and secondly, due to his relationship with his father. 🥺I am so happy Zhitao and her friends got the apartment back! This episode really poured sweetness... 🤗 Except for the new guy — someone who has backstabbed once might easily backstab again. 🤨Also, seeing how Nian and Zhitao's relationship is improving with each episode, I am becoming more certain their break-up will be caused by the Lime board members finding out about their romance. I can't think of any other reason anymore... 😟🫣

Luan Nian must thank the Heavens for sending him a friend like Tan Mian. He is the only one who can make him see reason and point out all his flaws and wrongdoings without restraint. 🙏However, I get why Nian said what he said, but the way he did it was so, so wrong. If they hadn't been romantically involved, the conversation would have been completely different, so in my opinion, it really was more about him being afraid of her leaving him rather than Lime. 😔But even if he was concerned about her future and whether she made a mistake or not — regardless of whether he's her boyfriend or her boss — he shouldn't have belittled and insulted her. That's not the way to make someone listen to you. In fact, the result was quite the opposite: her storming off with an emotional decision to leave with Alex and even blocking Nian's number. 😒Well, now he will really have to work hard to win her back. At least he realised he had turned into a version of his father — the person he hated the most — and I can only hope things will get better from now on. And what did it take? A huge argument, a blocked phone number, and a lot of tears and heartache. But like they say — whatever doesn't kill us makes us stronger. 😮💨🫣And now I'll have to worry if that phone call from Sun Yu might have been about Yuanzhu. 😟P.S. "Stay cheerful and genuine forever".... my heart. 🥹

They were kind of cute in this episode. They talked, and he explained everything she was worried about and even showed her affection and that he was thinking of her while they were separated during the Chinese New Year's celebration! 🥰🤗I am so relieved the childhood friend saw how he and Zhitao are together and will be stepping away, hopefully forever. 🤞But I am a little bit sad about Nian's relationship with his dad, and this is not the first drama where I see it this way. Usually it means the ML has father issues that have made him the way he is, so I believe it might be the case here too. I already suspected that after the broken typewriter scene in one of the first episodes, where the mother had lied that the nanny repaired it when it had been the dad. All I can say in this case — like father, like son. And maybe that's why Nian prefers to have a girl, so he wouldn't raise a son that's just like him. 😔

Their miscommunication just keeps making things worse. Now she thinks he has another romantic relationship behind her back, and he's just frustrated by her avoiding him. 😟I kind of understand both sides, because they both want something from this "relationship" they are really not receiving, but that could be easily solved if they openly talked things through, instead of throwing hurtful lines at each other and blaming each other for this and that... 😒And considering Nian is someone who has dated many women, it really does make me wonder if those girls were only after his looks and money, not caring much about the terrible personality they got as a bonus. 🤔

I think he would be okay if everyone found out he was dating her and that she was his. At least their conversations give me that impression. She's the one who wants to hide it, to keep it a secret, and he lets her, because that's what she wishes. 😏I didn't see anything wrong with him punishing her as her boss. And even then, I don't think there was no favouritism whatsoever, because instead of a year with no promotions and no bonuses, she got half a year with no promotions and bonuses cut only by half, which is a softer punishment than what anyone else would get. 🤔I respect her choice to take full responsibility for the mistake. However, judging by the look on the designer's face, she realises she had a part in it too and what the circumstances were that caused this error. I wonder if she will tell anyone about that, because I doubt Zhitao will. 🥺But that's what happens when people work overtime and late into the night, not caring about how much it withdraws them. They start to lack focus, eventually other health issues may appear, and stress can also cause changes in behaviour, like making people irritated by minor things, easily losing their temper, or falling into depression (been there, done that, so I can only be happy it's not happening to Zhitao... yet). 🫣Him watching her from a distance as she gets onto the bus... I think that was a quiet way of comforting her, even though she didn't know it. 🥺Not everyone is good with warm words and emotional support, and he might be one of those people. And this makes me keep thinking of that line he wrote on the typewriter and that's written at the end of the intro: "You don't have to be perfect to be worthy of love"—I think it's more like him telling himself those words. Maybe that's his inferiority complex, that he feels like he might be unworthy of love because of how imperfect and flawed he is, and his whole persona everyone sees is his shield to mask it. 🤔

am in awe of Zhitao! Give her any task, even the most complicated one, and she won't stop until she has found a solution. Good job on organizing the basketball game without spending a single coin! 👏So, them hiding their relationship is more because of her fear of losing her job by going against Lime's "no office dating" rule. In episode 1, I thought it would be something he pressured her into, so this is a relieving turn. 😮💨😌But it will be hard to maintain that secrecy when everyone from all sides is trying to either constantly ask about their private lives or try to find dates for them... And Yuanzhu is also in the mix, clearly fancying TaoTao. 😟My guess now is that someone at work will discover it and expose them (I already suspect either Annie, Kitty, or Alex), and then Zhitao will have to leave Lime. I am already picturing all the possible drama that might happen when they get to that point. 🤔🥺Their phone conversation was actually very sweet... Her reassuring him that she wants to hold onto him... 🥰

I don't like Alex's team, but especially Alex himself. I find him quite slimy and someone who wouldn't hesitate to use others for his own gain. Annie also could have said up front that she needed that report by the end of the workday, not just "today". And now they are using her to get files from Luke, just because they get along well, while at the same time they have this condition not to be friendly with anyone from other teams... a bit hypocritical imo. 😒And again, I saw how Yuanzhu looked at TaoTao at the dinner table... It was nothing like a look a friend would give to another friend. 🫣
