Oh, the King and the Queen were wild this episode! Loved every bit of their act to disperse the rumours! 🤗Hwajin finally made a good decision—she chose herself. And imho that's the best possible path for her to redeem her actions completely and be able to live in peace with herself and her conscience. 👏Byeongin just continues to be his annoying self. I am not sure if he's still redeemable for everything he's doing... If anything bad happens to Cheoljong, I will hold him responsible! 🫵🤨Loved how So-Yong called the King "her Jong"! 🤭 Not sure how this whole pregnancy plot will result for Bonghwan and actually the real So-Yong too for that matter. Cheoljong loves Bonghwan's personality, even though the real So-Yong has a big part of that relationship's origins and whole backstory, and that might cause some issues if So-Yong returns and Bonghwan's personality disappears. 🤔🤷♀️

Oh, I can't stand Eunuch Sun. He just whispers and whispers into the Emperor's ear... and not the best possible advice. I wonder again if he thinks he's helping or if he actually has an ulterior agenda. 🤷♀️ And if the Emperor already felt weird before, then after this episode, I think he might be the type who goes completely psycho when things don't go his way. I am a little scared of what he might be capable of eventually... and I mean evil capabilities. 😨I really do hate Yinlou's First Mother, and actually, there's even more—her whole family. They've been using her this entire time for their own benefit and greed. Unacceptable! 😠But Xiao Duo saved her, and what an action scene that was... I loved how he just swooped in—his moves! I think I've never seen a Dylan Wang drama where he fights with swords, and he did it marvellously! 👏💪

This episode worked perfectly to deepen the feelings between our leads. Yinlou is stuck in Xiao Duo's head now, and he is occupying her mind because she wants to crack him. Such a lovely duo! 🤗🤭The scene with Prince Liangxu looking for his belt in the Dream House while Wenwen actually saw it was hilarious. She probably had all the ideas forming in her head right then! 😂 But anyway, I think she was kind of impressed by his gesture later at the Lantern Festival... or pissed! I couldn't really read it from her face. 🤔Chun'An has fallen for Tongyun! I already suspected that episodes ago! 🤗 I loved the parallels between his speech and what Xiao Duo is experiencing himself! 👌

This episode was such a laugh! 😂 All those silly moments with young Prince Yuwen and Wenwen, and Yinlou giving him the worst advice! 🤭 Only when she finally understood that he might actually just be that silly, with no other motives, did she finally give some advice that earned him some favour with Wenwen. 👍Poor Eunuch Cao was forced to run to the Dream Boudoir and back to Xiao Duo to report, being sent back and forth the entire time. He was so done with it all by the middle of the episode, but nah—he was just sent there again and again... oh, poor guy! 😮💨In these last couple of episodes, I've started to wonder how many scenes with our leads were actually cut out up to this point. It already feels like they care for each other way more than the show has let us see, so most of it must have accumulated off-screen. 🤔

Actually, a lot happened and I can't really describe every detail I would love to, but overall, the episode was very good. 👌I loved the late nights where Bonghwan told Cheoljong all about the future of Joseon, and their other nightly activities while disguised. 😌 An especially adorable and funny moment was when Kim Hwan found them and his lost "friend", but couldn't recognise the King without his royal robe... oh, boy, that guy isn't very perceptive! 😂Hwajin telling the truth is a good step for her, and I hope her redemption arc can start now. I would actually love to see Byeongin join our team too. Now that that sick eunuch saw Byeongin and So-Yong's clearly intimate conversation, I wonder what Jwageun's next move will be regarding his adopted son. 🤔And hey, So-Yong is pregnant? If that's really true, then it will turn some tides drastically, I believe! 🤭🤨😏

I bet Princess Hede was upset because Prince Liangxu said he liked her for her strength. She probably expected it to be her beauty... 😏Xiao Duo is such a badass—the way he casually walked through the training grounds and everyone was defeated just like that. 👌💪I really dislike Eunuch Sun... I have a very weird feeling about him and I think he might become a big issue later on. The way he "encourages" the Emperor to do things he is actually hesitant or unwilling to do, and then even acts behind his back... yeah, something isn't right there, I reckon. 🤨🤔And knowing a thing or two about trees—there is no way they could have moved that tree so easily without any consequences for its vitality. Plus, the soil around it looked like it hadn't been disturbed at all... I don't think a freshly moved tree would be bearing fruit already! 🤨 It lacked any plausibility, but the idea behind it was nice!If only Xiao Duo had stayed a bit longer to see that Yinlou didn't actually let the Emperor feed her. But what can one do with his jealousy? 😉

The way Xiao Duo's face always glows up when he hears anything about Yinlou, and how he's ready to reschedule any other business... 🤭 And now he's allowed to call her by her name... they're gradually growing closer and now they will even more so. 🤗I am quite okay with Eunuch Liu getting whipped to death... at least Li can be free now. I hope she will calm down and be Yinlou's friend again someday. 🙏🤝Prince Yuwen Liangxu blushing and crushing on Princess Hede is actually kind of cute. And she quite enjoys teasing him. She knows he likes her... 😉First Mother and Yinlou's sister are already causing trouble from the very first second they appeared on screen. I already know I am going to hate those two... 😩

This ep was quite romantic (even if there's no real romance yet) and our leads got a lot of bonding time alone, undisturbed. 🤗 The peak moment, which was quite hilarious for me, though, was when Yinlou was such a killjoy for Xiao Duo by trying to guess if his goal was to be sisters with her! 😂And then those final few scenes came... OMG, poor Li! 😭 That Eunuch Liu must be dealt with. I don't care how—even if someone kills him—but he has to disappear! 👊😠

Xiao Duo learning how to make a kite just because women supposedly like it... that man is down hard! 🤭😏 And the goldfish kite was actually quite cute! 🤗Cao Chun'Ang being so confused by his chief's behaviour—A day off? A personal matter? He has secrets? Is he trying to replace me?!... and then later: "I like to fly kites too!" I can't... that was so funny! 😂Yinlou beating up Eunuch Liu, who actually turned out to be a pervert (exactly as I expected), and then telling him how he was displayed naked, but in a praising pose, for everyone to see, was golden! I love how witty she is! 👏😉I don't know if the story will actually go in that direction, but I kind of ship Princess Hade and Prince Yuwen Liangxu... we'll see, but I definitely felt some chemistry between them! 😉

We are starting to see a jealous Xiao Duo! 🤭The praises and flattery she offers to boost his mood or console him when she thinks he's upset or worried are just making him fall deeper... oh boy! 😏 And he's even counting the days until the next time they'll meet... I can't. I love it! 🤗 I also loved how she and Beauty Li chanted a prayer using his name, just to bring his "evil aura" into the mausoleum to chase away all the other evil spirits! 😂I think Eunuch Liu is doing something to those ladies when they enter his room... I'm not sure what, but it's nothing good! 🤨 And the eunuch who advises Emperor Fu Wang? He is just planting ideas in his mind... I bet the Emperor will become so full of them that if anything doesn't go the way he wants, he will turn into an antagonist at some point. 😔🤔

Did I get it right? Xiao Duo's brother was his twin? And he is now in the palace to replace him and avenge him? 🤔 That incense probably just made him completely lustful for Yinlou, and he had to get rid of her presence there as soon as possible! 🤭The scene with the tree was beautiful and, in my opinion, very metaphorical. The two trees were clearly meant to represent Xiao Duo and his brother—his brother being the dead stump and he himself the living one. 🥹 Everything they said and did there just linked back to the thought of Yinlou being the one to "revive" the stagnant, trapped "tree". 🤗

I am so excited for the auditions! I loved how all the Perfect Voice staff tried to act as if they didn't know Sheng. 😌🤭And of course, Sheng would still love MQC even when he isn't QQC anymore... I get her sadness, but they talked it through like adults and with understanding. I wouldn't expect it any other way. This drama is so green, green, green! 🤗

I already thought that sooner or later MQC would need to step back from some things. Given his relationship with Sheng, and eventually the likelihood of children, his current lifestyle would be hard to maintain. Of course, for the rest of the group, it can feel like the end of an era—a very sad moment, as farewells usually are... but in this case, it won't even be a farewell. It will just be him stepping into the background, but he'll still be there. 😌I particularly enjoyed the backstory of how it all started for the Perfect Voice. 👍🤗

Loved our Queen full-on in revenge mode! Stunning and deadly! 👏😎I'm very happy that Cheoljong finally found out that So Yong was the one who saved him from the well. 🤗 I wonder how this will affect his already distant relationship with Hwajin. How will he confront her about these lifelong lies? And what will it trigger in her? A redemption arc, or will she go full monster mode? 🤔Hwajin is still in denial about having turned into a villain, and she just clings to the idea that the woman found in the well was her maid, simply to use it as an excuse for everything she has done ever since in the name of avenging her death... And I wonder how long it will take for Yeongpyeong to realise that his feelings for Hwajin are taking him down a questionable path? 🤔😔 Well, at least So Yong also knows who had the ledger and can tell Cheoljong at any time... 🤨And I definitely loved that Cheoljong and So Yong formed an official alliance. It looks like Bonghwan has almost accepted staying in So Yong's body forever. There is still conflict, yes, but overall, I can barely see them as separate people anymore. 😏

Why do I have a feeling that little prince might not have died because of an accident? Yeah, it looked like one, but what if someone organised the whole thing? I believe it wasn't Xiao Duo, though, because he looked quite dissatisfied with the kid's death. 🤔I can't quite remember, because I watched the first few episodes a few months ago, but does Bu Yinlou talk to Xiao Duo without any male-female boundaries because she doesn't know he's not a eunuch? 🤔🤭Fu Wang has some trauma related to the darkness and was saved by Yinlou holding a lantern... That could be the reason why he's "in love" with her, and maybe also the reason why he is always making them? 🤔
