This is a love story no matter how much it wasn't supposed to be viewed that way. Love is the most important theme in the story and it isn't necessarily just romantic love but familial. I recommend this story to anyone who wants an all consuming show.

The story was a cute romantic comedy and while it wasn't the most original, the great performances increased my score. I did not give this a perfect score because it did leave a lot to be desired. Some questions were left unanswered but I can live with that. This really made sure to give everyone happy endings.
The saving grace of the show is the use of music and the fact that they're not engineers. I can't watch another I swear. Scrubb is probably the best group out there and it gave this show the added boost it need.
Overall this is one of the better GMMTV productions in the last few years. It's funny, it's fresh faced, and I hope to see this new gen of actors produce more series.

Pros: the ost for tharntype was on another level and it's been almost a month since it finished airing and I'm still humming it.
The recasts were well done. I enjoyed this Type more, not that Earth isn't an incredible and underrated actor, but he was very expressive and although his behavior in the beginning was infuriating, he had a gentle air about him that made him alluring. Techno's new actor was also great. I enjoy seeing the actor in other roles but this might have been his best yet.
Cons: the only downside i would give is that the plot became repetitive at points. Episodes 5 through 10 seemed to all be the same "Type gets mad at Tharn or hurts Tharn's feelings, he gets told he's being a jerk, he feels bad, he apologizes, all is forgiven" it would have benefited from less of that.
Overall: I enjoyed the serious and would love to get some more content.

So another GMMTV allstars production wraps. I was really excited for Dark Blue Kiss when it was announced. I had seen Kiss me Again and liked the Pete and Kao pairing and the hint that Mork and Sun would be more was really motivating as I have a love for the rough and tumble character getting together with the rule follower. The GMMTV allstars can get me to watch pretty much anything though so I was here for Tay.Pros: I really enjoyed the Mork and Sun storyline, it felt very natural and any issues they faced felt very grounded in reality.
Rain was also a pro for the series as his character wasn't just comedic relief, even though he was very funny. I worried that his love plot was going to take up too much time in the drama that already had 2 couples to deal with but it never did and I was grateful.
Cons: The production/editing team was on crack when they created that intro. It was ridiculous and felt so off from the rest of the series. A better intro would have done wonders for my score.
The OST was lacking. I personally liked the theme for Mork and Sun but other than that the other songs were just loud.
GMMTV has a habit of making communication issues the storyline for couples that are already established and have a second season. I know DBK is based on a novel but because we had already seen PeteKao it felt like it was there usual brand of not being able to write realistic conflicts for established relationships.
The timeline was another con as it left a lot of viewers confused about what the order was within the kiss series. Did Kiss the Series happen and is it canon? Are Sandee and Thada a thing? Why didn't the others know about them?
Overall:
The series was decent and short so it has a good rewacth value if you were a fan of the Sun and Mork relationship. I think the secondary couple was what kept me invested week after week. The acting was great the whole time and While it wasn't perfect I did really enjoy the series.

2moons2 had a rough start when it was announced that the original 6 moons were out. People were upset, myself included, that the actors they had grown to love would be replaced by 6 unknowns. It was also revealed that the series would be a reboot, not a continuation of its predecessor, further upsetting old fans.
I was inititally hesitant to watch as well but as I saw that the cast and director clearly but effort into the production and they actually considered international fans by having a platform for viewing as well as subtitles on the same release date I gave the first episode a chance.
From the start of the series you can tell that every actor was on board and that every character would have some value to the story.
In the original series i did not really care for the PhaYo relationship but the actors sold me with this version.
Admittedly the weakest of the 6 moons were MingKit as they felt a little less full than the others but they were cute nonetheless.
Forthbeam was my favorite pairing from the novels and i had a hard time moving on from their original counterparts however the new actors were clearly ready to bring this pair to life and they did.
My one complaint of the show is that the music was lacking.
I really hope we recieve a third season.

Pros: The stories for each character are so well thought out.
Cons: Too many couples were presented to give a satisfactory ending to each and unfortunately, behind the scenes drama means we may never get one.

Pros: The actors had good chemistry and did not make their interactions awkward as some BL performers do.
Cons: It was very short and the plot felt rushed and too slow all at once.
A great, quick show to watch something with way less unnecessary drama than most other BL's.

Pros: I thought the actors that I had already seen previously were great and the group of friends that Kao and Pete form was fun. They definitely put thought into the dynamics of each relationship, each with their own pasts.
Cons: Too many couples to really focus.
Overall: A great introduction to some new actors that I like seeing in dramas now. Great cast and fun story. Looking forward to the continuation .

Pros: The lead actors have great chemistry and they are excellent performers. Sandee and Thada's story was great. Had it been the only one this would have been a perfect drama.
Cons: The sister and her love story were AWFUL almost enough to make me hate the series. I did not care for her at all and felt like it detracted from the story.
Overall: I enjoyed the series for Sandee and Thada and the crazy plot twists that their story had. As a hispanic person used to spanish soaps, this felt so familiar and that was the best.

Pros: The cast was very important to me in this drama. Again, it is a lot of familiar GMMTV faces. I really like Earth and I enjoy seeing him in BL's as he has a certain vulnerability that he portrays that is so in contrast to his tough guy exterior. Off-Gun won me over with their performances and I am definitely a fan now. Particularly Gun, who was so good at portraying a heartbroken victim of unrequited love. As a film lover myself, the theme of film making was so interesting.
The subplots were GREAT. I liked that we had a surprise second BL couple as the trailers did not tease it at all and although their conclusion was very light and subdued (no kiss), the way it unfolded was so refreshing in the BL drama world. The unexpected ones are the best.
Cons: While I liked Bone and Pan's actors and their performance the whole subplot was .......pointless? I didn't hate it but I felt like it could have been without.
Overall: The story never had a moment that made me want to fastforward and that is almost impossible with me. The OST is amazing and has an English version everyone should check out.

Pros: The actors, at least the leads and their friends were great. It was a bit jarring to see a western/non-thai actor in the cast but the actor was great and his thai speaking skills were phenomenal so it didn't throw you off once he actually started talking. The plot is simple and the series is extremely short which makes it a fun, quick series to pass your time. Regardless of how comedic it is, I did find the overall concept of a sister not wanting to accept her brothers sexuality very real and touching.
Cons: Some of the comedy did get a little cringy at times but it made you laugh most of the time. The extra actors did not seem to care as much about their performances.
Overall: The series played with comedy and story to bring a very necessary topic (family related issues to coming out) in a short series. Give it a shot, people judge too much.

Pros: I think the cast was strong on all fronts from the core 4, to their friends, to the villains, and the extras.
While Fon's Smile did get a little annoying at times, she had a tenderness that you couldn't help but love her.
The chemistry between Mond and Fon was off the charts. I could do with them being a go-to couple.
Cons: The Boy For Rent concept could have been expanded on more. We know that Kyro is part owner so then why does he work and not just get profits? Also, Badz having to work there for his sister was a good plot but it was weakened by the quick explanation. Kyro and Liz had family issues related to the plot but they were much better executed.
Overall: Smile and Badz were the better couple but Liz and Kyro were the more fleshed out characters.
