Marapat ka sa pag-ibig na hahayaan kang magsayaw nang walang bahid ng takot at hiya. (You are entitled to a love that lets you dance without fear and shame.)
This ending quote from episode 6 made me cry so bad. I wish we have more episodes left because 8 episodes are not enough :(
I am not one to watch a drama after seeing a shirtless guy with abs in a clip somewhere. Great chemistry and realistic kiss scenes will more likely get me to start a drama. And, yes, I agree with you, many of these shirtless scenes are unnecessary but it's like their way of selling the male lead and making the viewers fall in love - handsome, romantic and a great body is like the icing on the cake. I remember how they targetted Ji Chang Wook's latest drama by pointing at almost every little scene but they never complained about how he is always asked to take his shirt off. Funny how we want gender equality but we ended up ignoring the rights of the opposite sex. An eye-opener. Great article!
Great article! definitely checking these. Short films/dramas are like my palate cleanser when I felt stuck after finishing one drama and I don't know what to watch next. Thank you for the links!
I did not. stopped at 9. I wanted to watch the last episode (yes, i know the tragic ending) but based on the comments in Kissasian, it was badly executed and feels like it wasn't connected to the series at all. I would have been braver if they did justice but based on the comments, I think I'm going to pass.
I have watched Sotus and Sotus S but this single episode of KristSingto is better than the 2 series put together. Krist is more comfortable which greatly impacted the chemistry and the acting has improved so much! I swear I cried several times in episode 5.
OffGun's episode was cute and fluffy but I did not feel the "character switch" which was the main point.
PeteKao's episode is a balance of funny and sweetness. Nothing extraordinary but still worth the watch.
Taiwanese dramas are the reason why I became addicted to Asian dramas. That was 14 years ago. It started with Meteor Garden and then I saw Rainie Yang (who played the best friend of the FL) and I started watching all her dramas with Mike He. They were my OTP and I was so invested in them that I remember not sleeping at all just to binge-watch an entire drama.
I gobbled up every season of HIStory save for Make Our Days Count. I haven't plucked up the courage to start yet. Maybe one of these days. Great article!
Honestly, it wasn't bad. I put this off for a very long time and watched it last of all the series because of…
Thanks! I'm looking for an excuse to watch something just cute and fluffy without the deep plots and all because I am so tired from work so I guess your comment just gave me the push to start this. You're right after all, I can drop if I don't like it - no biggie!
