she definitely did that BEFORE she died. i feel bad for Jing because even his only family member left who supposedly love him, did not in fact love him.
Fan wars are definitely a thing, sure, but this is also the first time I'm REALLY happy with YangZi's acting.…
I don't quite understand the attack on her acting too. I can understand the attack on the role itself as she had some immature ones BUT her acting is always on point in my opinion. If the role she playing isn't likable, it's not on her.
A person who has a fiancee and hasn't been done with his personal affair yet still came to flirt with you is not…
Just to be fair, it's a forced arranged marriage. I still think he's a green flag for his actual personalities and action. However, you do have a point. He can't act out or get jealous at XY because he have a whole-@ss fiance. So in a way he's kind of "cheating".
I can see why Jing is the end game. The way XY looks and acts around him is the only true romance between the…
Agreed. XY act exactly like a girl in love. I think we kind of forget XY is still quite young. I’m guessing in human years she around 20-22. And this is her first relationship.
Yes, I believe XY genuinely love BOTH of them. She was completely devastated when Jing died. She even went as far…
Jing were killed days before they were supposed to get married. XY were beyond devastated. She didn't sleep for days trying to find him. On the day of the wedding, she still wore her wedding dress, light up all the light, and wait for him to come even though everyone said he's already dead. Then someone tricked her with a handkerchief of Jing's voice, lured her out and tried to kill her. She didn't even struggle and decided to just die then and there. (XL saved her though of course).
When she finds out who killed him (CX), she tried to kill CX twice. The second time it was a suicide-murder. She told CX she can never forgive him because he killed Jing. She kill CX and herself. She died (and XL save her again of course).
No offense intended to any shipping group, but I have a question:Do you think that Xiao Yao is genuinely in love…
Yes, I believe XY genuinely love BOTH of them. She was completely devastated when Jing died. She even went as far as killing CX, and then kill herself. From the start, the setup for our FL is that the most important thing for her is survival and even more important than that, CX survival. But because of Jing's death, she killed her most loved one (CX) and herself. This show me that she had placed Jing above herself because she killed the very essence of who she is (or at least we were told).
For XY, I believe she love both deeply but in different way. They both occupied different place in her heart.
When XL died, I believe a part of XY died as well. But she didn't kill herself like she did when she thought Jing died. I debate it for a long time whether that means she likes Jing more. But now I don't think that matter as much as the circumstances. With Jing, she see a future with him so her choosing to die just mean she no longer see any future for herself (+betrayal). But with XL, it was always the "here and now", not a future. And she also have Jing so at least there's a future for her to live. If there is no Jing at the time, I don't think XY wanted to continue living either.
What can I say? The heart is complicated. XY has space in her heart for two deep love.
Here Jing's fiance is actively cheating on him AND he didn't even know her. AND he's been trying to break it off the whole time.

Dengwei is how I imagined XL to look like when I was reading the book.

He must have been embarrassed.
