Lovely article. I'm watching it too and your article describes this drama perfectly. Love the pictures and gifs you used. I enjoy reading the notes on Blitz Fan sub too. They do an awesome job.
I watched A Taxi Driver a few months back and then looked up the Gwangju Uprising . The movie did a good job of getting me curious to find out why people were being killed like that. It also highlighted the role of journalists in that era as it showed how they tried to stop the rest of the world finding out about the atrocities committed. It really was a good movie.
I only watched The 8 Year Engagement and The Liar and His Lover a few weeks ago. They definitely give you the feels. I too was looking for that last song from the Liar and his lover. Didn't think to watch the side story. Will definitely check out that and the other movies you suggested too.
"I love" by Official髭男dism is so catchy I had to check out the other music from this band and they really are awesome. Followers (Netflix) has very edgy music. I found a few artists I never knew about watching this drama like by Cornelius and Mi Chi. "Someday or One Day" by Shi Shi is beautiful and I saved the whole Someday or One Day OST to listen to. "I'm a slave for you"- Reiji Kawaguchi was on Kono Otoko wa Jinsei Saidai no. I have added some of his songs to my playlists. l love finding more artists to listen to while watching Asian Dramas. :)
Awesome article, Minarii. I heard about Masters in the house because Lee Seung Gi is one of my favorite actors but never knew what the show was really about. Thanks.
