From my understanding it's not about a drama but an animation of some sorts, or at least that's how it's labeled on Douban

I cannot find any information about this except a novel...Not even on Douban. Are we sure this drama will exist?:D

Hope this will make up a surprise and air all of the sudden like The Wolf has done, after so many years! I'm from Eastern Europe. Might be region locked as you said! Haven't thought of that...tho it's weird if they did this..I am tempted to try a VPN and check if they lock it for me also:D Edit: I actually installed a VPN and used a North America IP and it still works! Just in case the VPN was faulty, i also checked Fun Animation website which was previously blocked for my region, and it worked as well. Curious..why it doesn't work for you:(

Started the drama because i ran out of good shows to watch...Overall...Let's just say that i am sad to see a good production turn kinda mediocre because of very cringe humor. I would characterize this as being a short and bad version of Sleuth of Ming Dynasty(which in my opinion had all round likable characters with a solid plot). The only likable character is Long Yao for me, and even he could have been developed better. Plot is mehh and predictable. Anywho, it's a short drama and watchable if you have a lazy day to spare and are in the mood for: some action, some "mysterious"plot, meaningless deaths and some cringey comedy.

Haven't checked in regards of Ruyi drama, but both this drama and Silent Criminal are releasing normally for non-VIP. Silent Criminal has all episodes available and for Psych we have 8 episodes free. But i am speaking about the international website, not about the app which i have yet to check.

Hmm... trailer makes it seems like a tragedy, so I will wait and see some reviews before watching this one. For anyone who knows Chinese, the episodes are all already available on the chinese website IQIYI. The international website only has the trailer for now, so no subs.

A drama that had so much potential considering the production and actors to have such an ending...I don't advise anyone to watch this or continue to watch it! A waste of time! A typical chinese ending: good at the first few episodes, mediocre middle, terrible ending with no substance. Why wasn't this tagged with tragedy?? I'll stop watching dramas until I know of their ending. So much drama in real life that it's meaningless to watch it when you want to just relax home..

Hi! Sorry for the late reply! I cannot say if it will have a Happy ending though. I only watched 8 episodes so far and in this 8 episodes Shao is very amusing as a character. Better wait until the drama finishes airing and if it has a HE, watch it then:)

I am actually surprised how good it is. Granted, I only watched 2 episodes for now, but i love the characters, the story line and the fact that we have a SMART female lead! Hope it will maintain the good pace and keep the characters as they are! Edit: Ok, so I have watched all 8 episodes that are out for now so I finally found some characters to dislike like the son of the Grand Princess. Also, I was..let's say.. surprised by the marriage of the Prince with the younger sister:D The plot so far seems not that heavy, many political aspects on who to be the future emperor, and a mild romance. I still love the elder sister!

Missing dramas to watch, i had to re-watch this one:) Would love a S2 tho i know that all plot from the novel has been done. Seldom do i find dramas that have 3 male characters that are equally charismatic and good to portray their roles. After a second rewatch, i still feel that they did Dora dirty with her ending since it felt unexpected..

Does anyone know of any dramas similar to this? I lost count of how many times i re watched Nirvana In Fire! The fact that there aren't any meaningless romances, but full on plot, smart strategies, brotherhood feeling and very well done presented characters, makes this drama have a very special place in my list!

Pretty sure they actually planned this drama waayyy before MDZS was ever written, not talking about filming it. I remember when the novel was at about 12 volumes( and BL wasn't as censured in China as it's today), that producers talked with the writer about how they can make it happen to avoid the time traveling theme/soul transmigration which at that time was not allowed( think even now it's not), or if they should just cast a female lead in replacement of the MC. :))) The fandom was chaos afterwards:))) Personal opinion here, but only series that can second or ever overcome The Untamed is Heaven Official's Blessing which is ever bigger as a fandom in China and the expectations for it are huuge. So huge that they don't even dare to say a name for the cast to not be destroyed by fans not liking it

:) I checked your watch list which is mostly Korean dramas, so if you'll watch this, you will probably be a tiny bit confused with the political historical aspect of this drama. As for interesting points of the drama..well..In case you like a very smart male lead which has a weak health constitution( due to the past which is actually the main idea from where the revenge theme starts), and who is like a puppetmaster manipulating everyone, then this one is for you!. Drama has barely no romance, maybe around 10%, has lots of brotherhood feelings, and nice looking (in my opinion) male leads that know their way around acting. To this day, this drama is considered a masterpiece in China. Also, if you give it a try, first 2-3 episodes are slow due to the plot being slowly discovered, while most kdramas are short and enter straight in action

I got myself into a discord group for HOB and it's full of wonderful people that share everything that appears also! I also heard of Luhan as a possibility and also Dong Sicheng and Xu Kai!! Of course all are rumors. On the other hand, Xie Lian's birthday in on 15 July and the manhua will start again to be uploaded on that day! Also, another trailer for anime might be released also or maybe a release date! He is considered as the mastermind or the puppeteer of the drama because of these reasons: 1.) The sought justice for the death of his brother, Nie Mingjue and unraveled all happenings of the past. 2.) He bought back our main lead, Wei Wuxian, by manipulating Mo XuanYu, the boy who sacrificed his body to WWX. 3.) He bought justice, while manipulating Wei Wuxian, to his DaGe, Yanli - the Jiang sister and her husband, Jin Zixuan. 4.) Again, with manipulation, he found proof of the fact that Meng Yao was the one who killed his own father, the fact that he married his own sister and killed his own son who was a product of incest. 5.) He unraveled the truth of the Yi City and the murders that Xue Yang had done and implicitly, he found justice to Song Lan and Xiao XingChen. What makes him really smart is the way he did all of this buy staying in the shadows and manipulating each and every move of Wei Wuxian to make each step accordingly to his plan, and all of this to make Meng Yao suffer. I would recommend to watch Fatal Journey, a movie that happens after WWX's death and until his resurrection. A very heavily complex character that even the author of the novel said that if there would have been a new Chef Cultivator, then she would have chosen Huaisang:)
